Also, it does take time if you want some real quality material. As they pointed out on My Expert Opinion, 3 rounds of material is almost equivalent to the amount of bars an artist may use for an album, which is wild. These dudes have been losing the right to their intellectual property for a long time.
Quality over quantity
Smack provides the platform for them to get money
People have tried to start their own leagues and fail time after time
You can't compare it to albums
If they could do the music they wouldn't be battle rapping

I've enjoyed Geechi's run, but I dint think it felt the same way as JCs run from at least Chef Trez up through his loss to Twork.

Feels nothing like it lol. Geechi’s run has had a LOT more impact.
Geechi went from relatively unknown to one of the top names in the game headlining major cards against the legends JC has been chasing for a half decade. JC went from hovering between mid tier and almost top tier to hovering between mid tier and almost top tier.

i don’t understand the comparison. Geechi’s “run” has been damn near his entire url career. That JC run was like 3 battles.
Hard to get behind a guy that’s battling every week and losing to 100 Bulletz. If JC managed his career better his status would be higher.
In JCs defense...... 100 Bulletz is fire... He dont really lose like that..
