Man seein Kanye say "life is like the NBA" on drink champs just pissed me off this nikka surf 3/3
Dutchess’s pops just passed.
Rest in peace, power, and paradise.
Lux honestly doesn’t even strike me as someone who is super into battling anymore in general, but the bags they’re getting are too big to pass up and it’s not as though his music career is gonna take off at this point to make up for it. He needs to go ahead and take that Harlem hotep hustling space that Polight left open.Yes, Lux said that years ago. It was a valid point.
I don’t really think it should take that long to shop around the battle.
Im just not convinced Lux is that interested in the battle until I see it booked.
Them teaming up for a battle would be cool.
I’d be specifically intrigued by the impact of them both learning from eachother by watching one another write. And how that collaboration will change their OWN style.

I think it’s the whole old guard with Mook, Goodz, and Cass of all people seeming like the exceptions to me.I’m sure we could say that about a lot of vets.
JC literally looked bad against Twork/Illmac who we noted informed Lux's decision, also in front of a super regular Yung Ill when he first had a chance to take the leap. He was aware of his situation in both instances and dropped the ball. wouldn't brand protection fall under paying attention? he wasnt protecting his brand with the slow flow either. When you "pay attention" you adjust your bad habits like...opening your eyes when you rap, or...stepping up to the challenge to rebuttal to the point where you're one of the top rebuttalers now, that's the separating factor between them for me, and yea like you said even being aware of which battles are make or break for you, Julian failed on all accounts bro, idk maybe im being a bit tough about it but it is what it is
arsonal is spitting filler and losing is why people don't wanna see him no one would have a problem seeing Ars if he was giving us dope rounds
Tay Roc throws a wrench in your argument too, another guy who just treats this shyt with respect like a job and it worked. I can't make excuses for the rest of these nikkas spitting filler when we already know the majority of em are writing their rounds right before the events anyways man, we seen too many of these guys make the same mistakes to make excuses for it. Roc can have a clear lost but still do enough to make people wanna see more, i think all of them have the talent to do that they just don't
I've always felt like it was supposed to be Brizz up next, but then the fight happened.Jc didn't look bad in those battles, they were just clear loses, but he put on.
Ars always spit filler lol, he lost his stock from oversaturating himself. Clips did a point as well. But the Wild N Out, plus his lack of appearances of late have helped build him back up as a name that means something when he battles again
Tay Roc was the first Geechi. URL put the rocket on his shoulders and let him carry the league for a good 3-4 years. Geechi was just the replacement. It was supposed to be Twork, but Twork kept fukking up. Before Twork, it was supposed to be Ave.
The funny thing is, Lux could've easily won this Geechi battle by taking angles, and he never did. It was scattered. For this battle he didn't even need to change his styleAll Lux has to do is punch more and sooner, that's it that would work no matter what kind of content he's spittin, be it conscious shyt or gun bars
I think Brizz was just killing shyt and became one of the top guys organically, but URL never put the whole company behind him like they did Roc, Twork and Geechi imo, or even Ave to a lesser extent.I've always felt like it was supposed to be Brizz up next, but then the fight happened.
