The only match on the riot card that is surprising is Real Name Brandon Vs Fonz. That’s a battle the URL would do.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all of the URL purchased the battle or worked out an arrangement with Geechi to acquire the footage.

Edit: Also watching the battle again Geechi/Lux....yeah I think Lux needs to go back to the drawing board..he's doing that shyt again that I don't like which is saying "nikka" or adlibing after a bar..it ruins the rhythm for me

It’s one thing to have New Era vs Legends on some competitive shyt. But it’s corny if it turns into straight hating.

It is what it is. Something about hip hop (and the Black community in general a lot of times) makes this young generation vs old generation thing more than it’s supposed to be. And battle rap also has a thing where the active battlers (and fans) rail against the guys who battle infrequently. It’s the angle Verb took against both Mook and Lux, to great support.

You really saw this shyt when Cass came back to battle Goodz though, where all of the

URL called Mickey Factz to battle B Dot on the Drake card.

Mickey declined the battle because he gave ARP and B Dot his word that he’d battle him on RBE.

Said B Dot blew up in the meantime and ended up giving his word to URL, so that’s why it hasn’t happened yet

I respect his stance
