That was that for me I don’t care if dudes have a million ghost writers as long as they performance great we good.

I agree 100% I fukk with Freeway but that nikka needs like some pgs and some tune up battles before headlining anything. We are guaranteed a stinker when he battles Cassidy I hate this shyt I should be hyped for main events, not bracing for the worst

It’s not even a fair matchup. Cassidy has been through the ups and downs of battle rap already. Freeway isn’t even a battler.

Another thing, URL is at the point where they shouldn’t be happy that an industry guy wants to battle on their platform.

They need to enforce some quality control. These industry guys are going to hear about these purses and want to battle. When they do, URL needs to say no unless they fit a certain criteria.

If a Cass/Free battle is some Smack personal bucket list shyt or something then cool, I get it. But, and no disrespect to him because Philadelphia Freeway was a personal classic to mr, but I don’t see how 2022 Freeway is even a bigger deal for them than 2022 Surf, Roc, Geechi, etc. If Jada wanted to battle then cool, I get it, let him headline sight unseen, bars unheard. But guys who were middle of the pack popular 20 years ago…

So this Cassidy Freeway battle has been booked I want to say for like 5-6 months now. I remember my homie telling me about this around April or May or something. I haven't asked but I wouldn't be surprised if this battle wasn't a URL call. URL is funded now so there's a lot of people giving input and making matchups for whatever reason.

I can see the higher ups in Caffeine seeing the numbers Cassidy does on his battles and interviews leading up to battles which, on average, do blow typical battle rap numbers out the water, seeing the social media engagement around him, and pushing URL to make this match. But since Cassidy is such a polarizing figure in battle rap, they're smart enough to give him Freeway instead of another battler that might hurt his stock, give him easy prey so they can continue to feed off the energy for a few more battles until it wears out.

Cassidy has 3 battles since the Diz battle. Two of them are at 5 Million. Another at almost 3. And a faceoff at 3 Million. If nothing else, Cassidy is gonna bring attention. I bet his battle with Freeway is the most watched battle ever on Caffeine. Wouldn't be surprised if the servers go down.

Twork sometimes continues in that cadence, so it doesn't become as monotone. Those West Coast guys moreso always use it only as a transition. And that specific bar is often a lyrical reach.

if the intent is to give him an easy touch, they need to sign him to a deal. It makes no sense to give him an easy battle, and then he just turns up on RBE his next battle
