Only discussion leading up to that card was WTF was Smack thinking and if the big money vets would ever be on a URL card again.
I think it's arguably, depending on how you define anticipated. I think the discussion around 3 was more centered around "Wow, Smack really is not going to book most of the big names for this Summer Madness" and people having an interest if it would successful, more than people were interested in any particular battle. I was there live and the energy in the room was very low, and it was the capacity of probably a Born Legacy with a good headline. This SM already sold out and is gonna have 2000+ in attendance. The argument could be made that's just more a function of Battle Rap being bigger now then it was 7 years ago, though.
