Said it before and Ill say it again. Lux is more dense than JC and has more ideas, but he isnt the better/more thought provoking writer. Take an A+ Lux vs A+ JC nobody is dog walking anybody

We might have to agree to disagree on that. I do think if he was way more of the run of the mill gunbar battle rapper, fans wouldn't go in on him.
But yeah he's very risky and some of things he does just doesn't stick to the wall when he executes it.

Gift and a curse though.

Hollow is just a lot different than most URL battlers in how he approaches his writing/style. It's the reason he got so popular in the first place, and especially why he's so beloved by certain segments of fans. But the downside is when you're doing something totally different and it DOESN'T work, the criticism is harder and people fukk with you less. It's just a risk thing; Hollow takes a lot of risks, there's a great reward when it hits, but you gotta accept it when it doesn't hit too. We can't just give Hollow credit when he does well, and no criticism when he doesn't.

I think Lux is a better writer and battler than JC but the one advantage JC may have in their battle is if Lux doesn’t really have a good angle against JC but chooses to try to use one anyway, it may fall completely flat and he outright loses a round. Like his third against Verb when he reached for that angle that no one really had any interest in.
