:jbhmm:Does battle rap have the brokest fan base of any genre of entertainment? Some of the comments on the URL YouTube page are pretty pathetic.

Elaborate :mjlol: Are you talking about fans that complain about having to buy the app? I wouldn't say they're broke, but more like don't see battle rap as a necessity like that...which is really weird :mjlol:

Yes

Why wouldn’t you say they are broke?

I guess I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that 8.99 per month is breaking the bank for most fans. I wouldn't say broke but more like cheap/spoiled. They've been getting free content fort years. To now start paying a fee got some of them like " Do I really need to spend 8.99 per month on battle rap? :patrice:"

Made that shyt up specifically for the Brizz battle :mjlol: I'll never understand the play there

shyt spawned one of the craziest bars of Twork’s career at least! “I’m the real Von Doom you never see me with the hoodie off but I keep the steel in your face YOU VERY FRAIL.”

why the fukk would you even own a polo that looks like that let alone wear that bullshyt to hoop in lol. Ace is on straight cookout uncle time smh

btw, virtually every one of these nikkas are in worse shape than 99% of mainstream rappers with 1/100th of the bread. Smack needs to implement a conditioning program for these dudes, some of them look like they might collapse at any moment. shyt is starting to impact performances and all that

I think this is with every fan base. When they got something for free for years and then you try to get them to buy something, there will be backlash and people complaining

We grew up in the CD era but imagine someone 25 and younger, they pretty much was always getting music relatively for free. Imagine tomorrow the music industry said they’re going back to CDs and you wouldn’t be able to listen to albums on streaming services anymore. Fans would flip the fukk out.

I also saw that recently with video gamers. I don’t play video games, but I have two nephews who do, and one of them games on his computer. I bought the other one a PlayStation subscription so that he can play 2K, it was like 60 beans for the year, and the one who games on his computer was incredulous. Bamma acted like he couldn’t fathom paying for an online service lol (apparently they don’t have to pay to play online). I tried to tell him that 60 wasn’t anything to worry about and he wasn’t having it. He swore that he wouldn’t pay sixty for anything like that. Getting shyt for free and then having to pay for it later is always going to be met with backlash.

Facts. It could be 1 dollar, but going from free to paying literally will make a nikka be like "I'm good".

My friend and her husband have a web series (it's on TV now), and and one point it went from Youtube for free to making the fans having to pay for a service to watch it, they flipped lol.
