Are you allowed to go over your material in between rounds during a battle? Just curious. I know you can't/shouldn't do it while your opponent is rapping because they need your attention, but I don't see why you can't for that duration at the end of the rounds, the little part the cameras cut.

Would it be the worst thing in the world for battling to start allowing a person to check their phone/whatever for a lil minute if they start forgetting shyt so they can actually complete the battle? Just edit that part out. You have to deduct some points for that but at least the fans get a full battle.

You can hear and see the difference in confidence and delivery between someone that has his rounds down pat vs someone who wrote last minute (or just read his rounds on his phone). Hate watching someone stumbling just waiting for the choke.

A lot of battlers pull out their phone while the other dude is rapping. Assumption always has to be they’re reading their rounds. Gotti used to do it sometimes.
