How? URL is the label, A&R, director, producer, etc. All the rappers do is rap... I get why lux/mook charge what they do.

They’d have more success with SAG-AFTRA but better yet I’m talking about they themselves coming together and starting one pertinent to their needs & wants.
It would involve a lot of co-operation, work and some sacrifice. They’d rather just tweet instead.
You're taking shots at the guys who have been proactive about creating their own brands in and outside of URL. It's unfair to assume Geechi, Loso & Ace won't take steps to gain greater ownership of their work. None of them need URL to be successful in 2021 they are marketable enough to battle wherever the money is at.

@Black Bolt is right but no need to take shots saying they just tweet. Organizing takes heavy word of mouth effort and I’m sure this is not under any purview of professional labor guys. They do need to do more but what they’re doing is not bad

It's not that. Organizing takes a RISK that they don't want to take. It's that simple.
Because for all of the guys complaining about a league owning their battles and using them, the REAL solution is VERY simple and doable. Throw your own event and now you're the one with the ownership. But that takes a risk they're not willing to take (some have taken it obviously).
Instead of focusing so much on how to get more from cooking for someone else's restaurant, start your own.
