When it comes to O’fficial, why do nyggas still act like it’s the 2015 version coming off the Jaz battle? I’m trying to understand, because she hasn’t been a “killer” in years.

No way she should be a heavy favorite over a guy like Cortez.

More than likely because she is a puncher. She'll say some shyt that's so quick to grab in an instant. She isn't too bad with angles since she can punch with them. Other than that, she has good delivery and performance. But quick prep time? Never seen her do it.

I knew Cortez would have advantage because no matter how much he gets dogged when it comes to narratives, he knows how to battle in different environments the most. And win or lose, he has battled way more different styles and learned from them. As long as he doesn't resort to how he was in the Eazy battle, I think he would do good.

I think it was a more anti-Cortez sentiment than a pro-O'fficial one.

Serius lacked/lacks self awareness. You're not Mook, you're not Lux. No one was biting there nails waiting for your return. Winning the coin toss then opting to go 1st against a URL favorite was a big mistake. In close battles the tie typically goes to who went 2nd. He's been in this game too long to make that rookie mistake. Especially without culture shifting material (though his second was fire )

She just had a great showing against roc and also beat 40/Ms.Fit/Twork within the past year. Her only loss was against arsonal (Though granted it was a clear L)

But i been saying the cortez disrespect was ridiculous. Like someone else said this was more anti cortez then pro official.

Perhaps, but every single battle, she’s built up as a monster or best female in battle rap. It’s just not the case.

In terms of status and resume she is. Although i'll always say Hart is the best female battler in terms of sheer talent.

But yea girls like First lady flamez and Coffee are on the come up fast.

Here’s the thing though, her being a puncher is why she fell off. There is no longevity with that style. Punchers have a very short prime, in which they are extremely dangerous. After that, they are very light.

Rum Nitty is the exception, an anomaly, as he’s clearly the goat in that category.

Ave has been able to stick around, but as you saw in the DNA battle, he was way more well rounded then he normally is.

We will agree to disagree. None of those showings were great.

Status sure, but As an actual battler, she is very underwhelming. She’s living off a battle 6 years ago.

Her material is very light nowadays. Some of the shyt she spits on these small leagues are laughable. However, you may enjoy it.

How long was her prime tho?? Her Jaz battle was better than most nikkas that year. Then poof... she was back to mediocrity. Theres something fishy about those inconsistencies.

She literally had the feamle Lux performance, then went to mid tier status

I would say 2013-2016, Then she had that awful battle with Lady Luck, and it’s been meh ever since.

Oh make no mistake, I agree with you; even the DNA vs. Ave battle. And I think O'fficial is realizing that she needs to add more to what she can do on that stage moving forward. Unless they can elevate like a Rum Nitty. Or hell, would Bigg K be in that category as well?

Honest question: Can you point me to more battles with her spitting like she did against Jaz? That was my introduction to her and everything after that was meh to me
