Any nikka that praises Daylyt’s performance and turns around and says crowds are necessary is a hypocrite.

What made this battle a CLASSIC is that they weren’t interrupted! With the only subtle reactions present being in the BACKGROUND (as they SHOULD)

I remember when you could put up a battle and let em rock like a song, so much unnecessary extra shyt came with crowds it’s unlistenable.

Battles like JC vs Chilla were those exceptions because they would shut up IMMEDIATELY after any reaction to hear the next bars.

It’s so many benefits to not having a crowd, down to the duration of a battle.
I’m really looking forward to this bein the new format so we can back to the actual art of RAP. Step ya BARS up or get exposed.

yeah fukk the crowd, I still have to watch this jjdd/ace battle but when i saw the run time over an hour i was like here we go back to the hour plus battles with crowd bullshyt. these caffeine and app battles been only 30-35 minutes the most and lots of times less like 25, perfect time.

Yeah, I don't live in the US but I've always wanted to attend a URL event. That shyt looks lit I've been to concerts though, so I think a Summer madness with a crowd would have a similar feel

I'm obviously in the minority but I enjoyed the crowd in the TODD/Ace battle. The issue to me wasn't the crowd it was Bullpen's poor mic work. I'll always prefer crowds because of the energy they bring but I can understand the appeal of Shakespear battle rap too.

NXT seems aight but i think a cardinal sin in battle rap is having a strong voice for the punch but then having your punches be weak as shyt
