Im of the belief that rematches should only happen if the first encounter was memorable. Their first battle wasn't that.
Interesting. I'm on the opposite end. I only wanna see rematches if the first 1 was either a one or two round battle, or both battlers were young and leveled up later, or it was a clear body and the guy who got bodied leveled up (Clips vs Roc). If the first battle was memorable then I wanna just leave it alone.

I feel like all three scenarios could call for rematches but I agree with the fact that a classic battle is the last one that should be rematched but even those I can see if it happened a long time ago.

One thing for certain, I don't think a rematch should happen within 5 years of the first battle.

yeah why would anyone want to see a rematch if the first one was a memorable battle?

Smack making a move to bring URL into everyone's home in 4K HD for free is a Power move. I know many of us have been ordering every PPV yet some of you who don't even buy the PPVs or subscribe to the app are complaining?

You guys complained about the App for months and the URL decides to run the PPVs for free in real time (like Showtime does with it's ShowBox events) and some of you are still complaining.
:mindblown:

This is a major move for URL and battle rap in general. It's streaming at ESPN / TNT online speeds and quality. I feel like I'm watching Inside The NBA right now, this is truly a step forward for the culture. I know some people working with Caffeine and they have some of the brightest minds in the app world on the team and a lot of money behind them.

F.Y.I. to watch you can use the Caffeine app on your phone or tablet or you can stream it on the website from your PC (Upgrade from the URL App). you have your PC synced to your TVs (I have Samsungs not sure about other brands). I had it streaming to my living room TV downstairs while my laptop is two floors upstairs at my desk. in 4K with no lag

Now if you take a battle on RBE (looking at you Chef Trez and iLL Will) you're literally in the minor leagues. Salute to ARP

The World's Most Respected :lolbron:

Fans are pretty lazy. Even though its as simple as downloading the app, I really think they are tired of going through multiple platforms to see content. If you want to watch PPV, you had to go to watch battles. Any new battles, you have to go to the app. New events, now you have to go to caffeine.

Hopefully after this experience, the URL will be able to do EVERYTHING from the app in a few years.

Memorable doesn't necessarily have to mean classic. I mean memorable in the sense that people still speak about what happened the first time around, even if the original happened a long time ago.

Like in my brain, a bodybag is memorable. So Clips/Roc 2 makes sense. Calicoe/Math if it ever happens, makes sense in my head.

JC/Red was a good battle but nothing special from the first time around (I think had it 1-1). It's was nothing about that matchup imo that warranted a part 2. I don't get the logic behind another edition, especially when both participants still have better matchups on the table.

check my edit

yeah agree to disagree with your logic in general

Clips/Roc and Cal/Math were so clear and one sided, that they didn’t warrant a rematch.

Im glad Clips/Roc 2 happened because it was a good battle, but it didn’t need to happen.

It’s like saying Clips/Rex 2 needs to happen because it’s a memorable body bag.
