This is just gonna be a setting battle to me. On the stage I think Suge will overpower him easily. In a Volume setting Danny should win. Suge did compete with a Nitty (who was cooking) in a bar for bar though so :yeshrug:

You saying this surprises me because I know how much you don't fukk with Danny Myers. Like how you are with Aye Verb. And don't get me wrong, Suge done worked his way up. But he has times when he drops the ball. Danny only recently has done that (which is all on him), but for the sake of consistency, I cannot see Danny losing.

I'm referring to them at their best when I make predictions (or reasonably close). Suge is MUCH more likely to be underprepared than Danny is. If they both are A versions of themselves I think Suge wins on a big stage even if Danny's bars are better.

I don't even dislike Danny, I think he wins battles, but he's just spitting random punchlines usually, which is cool, but I don't see that as top tier shyt. Same issue I got with Nitty, Nitty's pen is just so incredible I gotta let it go lol. Verb on the other hand, I never saw the GOAT level greatness others see in him. He's just a good battler to me with top level finessing skills.

Verb pretty much has taken risks and been like an anti-hero. And shown what his pen can from an area of the states that I think a lot of fans were not aware of could put forth such a talent in the limelight. He doesn't always give you the best showtimes against some people who have lower status than him BUT he when he shows up...he really does show the fukk up. And he took damn near all road games in his biggest battles except for a few like Hitman, Cortez, Hollow, and maybe some more I am forgetting. I put him in the GOAT category for a lot of reasons but I don't praise every move he makes either. I'm the same with Danny. My things is, nikkas with Danny will try to sweep his wins under the rug or never give him a fair win because of politics or his personal all the time I feel; so if you can't get him on the punches, you get him on the 12k, his wife, his kids, etc. But the nikka has some clear wins and will admit losses when he has them. On some real nikka, I respect that.

Nitty is a monster. Battle wise, just that damn consistent. Performs his bars out more now and just elevated. Aside from his battling, I wish his music reflected his style in a battle but it hasn't yet.

Yeah Suge may under prepare himself because of how the fans like to look at Danny. Suge did that somewhat with Charron because all he did was see a white Canadian kid and ran with that angle. Problem is, when Suge faces punchers or someone who can crack jokes and angle him like Pat Stay, he falls into the traps they set for him. Because see, Danny is a puncher but he also rebuttals way more and angles his opponents well now. He's becoming way more well-rounded than people give him credit for. On the performance tip, Suge will match his energy tho.

The things is

Every battler who is still on the show also won the casting years ago

I was surprised that she won anyway so she prolly got dropped

That is false

Bonnie won a contest to be on the show. It’s the same contest where Dre Dennis embarrassed himself.

con, hit man, and clips were brought in to audition. Nick already had an idea in his head that he wanted them. An audition is not a contest.

if you want to know the inter workings of wild n out, Charron did a good interview a year or two ago, I believe on PSA. People come and go all the time each season. They even moved on from him after one season, but he had to grind his way to get back on the show.

maybe you wouldn’t be so confused if you knew what you were talking about

It's wild that this crazy nygga Math has 1500 people on deck to watch his show. Thankfully he didn't have this type of power when he was younger he would have been shaking down everyone on the line at Smack events.

Nyggas would have been calling into his show after stomping someone out, giving shout outs. Mook would have had to stay in the house, Math would have put some live correspondents on his azz.

Smack really cut this goofy off before he could finish the Bar God.

Personally I think he has the glow now. He is starting to get real respect now, the top tier battlers see him as a challenge now.
He stays using the same patterns so it isn't really about the bars at all, because he will say anything that fits into the pattern before the punch.

Fans/rap artists need to respect battle rap the same way comedians respect stand up comedy. Just because you can rap, doesn’t mean you’ll do well at battle rap. Just because you are funny, doesn’t mean you’ll do well at stand up.

Let’s take Eddie Murphy. He knows if he wants to do stand up again, and has to get out there, grind, and work on his shyt. There is no way around it. Hell he knows that he may suck in the beginning.

I don’t understand how fans/rappers don’t have this same self awareness. These nyggas really think they can just go in and be at 100% on their first battle or some shyt. “Man Banks and Fab would come in and kill nyggas” man get out of here with that.

Cass is just too big to go the PG route, but he could have worked on his shyt by selecting the right opponents. I would have demanded guys like Con, Jae Mills, Mistah Fab, King Los, nyggas that haven’t battled in years. No way am I going to put myself at a huge disadvantage like he did. This is how I would have tried to line it up:

1. Jae Mills
2. King Los/Mistah Fab or someone like that
3. A big battle against a rusty Con that hasn’t battled in 5 years

He still would have got his money.
