This is absolutely false fam, nikkas wanted to see Roc vs Nitty ans SMACK/URL didn’t care.
The demand was through the roof, yet they dragged the matchup unnecessarily long to the point the battle was TRASH and their material was stepped on when they faced eachother.
Let’s not even try to use a logical statement like that with URL, it’s simply not that true
They said it was to “protect” Calicoe’s image goin into the Lux battle (GE BODIED Calicoe)
URL not releasing that GE body is one of the biggest crimes in Battlerap imo
Imagine Surf not having the footage of his Brixx battle released. (Not a litteral comparison, the point is the impact on his career)

URL should’ve rewarded GE’s moment, released it and watched where the chips would fall.
Instead they played politics and didn’t release the battle.

lol @ dragging it out. He battled Ave, then clips, then Roc on Nome.
Kind of silly to blame URL for their lackluster material. Some battles just turn out bad.

It’s business breh, it’s not personal. In retrospect URL did the right thing because they ended up with the biggest moment in battle rap history with the Lux/Cal battle. GE just got the short end of the stick, shyt happens. Some guys get sacrificed.
If GE lost motivation, that’s on HIM. This is life and that’s a grown man, how you gonna feel sorry for him losing faith because he had a setback?? These are the facts, Lux and Calicoe was booked REGARDLESS.
Them not putting the Calicoe bodybag out was to make Calicoe “look” more deserving of the Lux battle which is unethical.
Not only should they have put the bodybag out.

The most recent example of a battler calling out the SMACK/URL bullshyt was Jerry Wess’s bodybag round at them vs Glueazy
The problem is that it had to be put out there in a round for SMACK to change shyt that was already being said by battlers and fans that put their own admiration for URL to the side and call them out for their bullshyt.

That's him being blackballed basically. How you go from battling Calico who at the time was one of the biggest names on the URL to battling PGs. It wasn't like he went to mid tier battlers where can still have career...no they had him facing Johnny Donuts. How is that not being blackballed
If he came back and actually did the PGs I think he downs agree with you
He could easily go to another league and be a star like other "blackballed" dudes did
