Danny is a damn fool. Have the biggest battle of your life locked away behind URL pyramid schemes.
Its tough being a Myers fan, bro.
It's a fail from the consumer standpoint, discussions are ruined cuz everyone isn't seeing all the battles, shyt hits youtube suuuuper late (with no discernable order to them) so future cards don't even reflect how the fans felt about battlers past performances. Half the battles i watched on ppv so what am I even paying again for? Having 3 different places fans have to pay attention to (youtube/app/ppv) is ridiculoushow so? We have no idea how much revenue the URL generates.
Theres nothing to suggest from the outside looking in that it’s a failure.
Is Hollow really god tier anymore
Hollow been regular for a while now but that's kinda the thing about being considered god tier. Once you're there, you're there. Low key, Lux, Mook, and Hollow (and that was always somewhat considered a lesser degree) were the only ones pretty much everyone agreed as god tier artists. And Mook hasn't been a top level battle rapper in damn near a decade at this point in my personal opinion.I just hope he bodies him and gets him out of there. It still counts. No matter the politics and bullshyt, showing up for opportunities like this helps.
Side note: Is Hollow really god tier anymore? Aside from the 2 on 2, this year was a disaster after Math hoed him. Even in the 2 on 2, Lux had the most memorable shyt, and a chunk of it was them re-battling each other, so that was recycled. I never liked him THAT much to begin with, but his aura is all but gone.
He's been ass for years but he still godtier. Mook been worse and he still is too.

On what metric? they’re making bank from it and fans are getting consistent battle releases. So is it safe to say that the URL app is a failure
App itself is trashOn what metric? they’re making bank from it and fans are getting consistent battle releases.
Only issue is that the app itself needs updates, still on v1.0 which is serviceable but lacking
‘Discussions’ don’t make moneyIt's a fail from the consumer standpoint, discussions are ruined cuz everyone isn't seeing all the battles, shyt hits youtube suuuuper late (with no discernable order to them) ourless they developing some
What you're saying is valid, but they are going about it half-assed, and it's all anti-consumer. All give, no take. Empty promises.‘Discussions’ don’t make money
YouTube adshare doesn’t make money
The problem here is we’ve been fed for free for 20 years so the sudden change to a paid model seems jarring (also black business are inherently devalued but that’s smoother topic)
if Netflix, Disney , Amazon, hbo etc can charge for their SVODs why can’t URL? Are they providing a unique quality service?
If you expect every battle to be Geechi vs Surf then sure its a failure. I’m getting over 12+ battles a month and I enjoy approx 75% so I’m more than happy with the service.App itself is trash
RNT still a major factor
Bad for fan value
Bad for BR media
Segments fans
No free content as promised
Non battle content never came
Too many PG trash releases for a paid service, when you know they're sitting on all types of shyt that needs releasing
Them making money is the only success of the app.
Bullshyt. The ppv set up was fine the only issue was droughts lasted longer‘Discussions’ don’t make money
