Roc wasn’t indisputable best BEFORE he battled Surf, he was just hottest at the time. Hell, Roc essentially wanted the Surf battle then lost head to head. Y’all can’t just retroactively act like Surf is some Born level battler either.

I'm not, Surf is elite, I'm a big fan but he hasn't been better overall than Roc over the last five years.

Saying Roc was the hottest but not the best/#1 is being pedantic. Clips (who I find to be trash half of the time) held that spot too. We could never say the same about Surf. The talent is there but he's never been on a run like the aforementioned

This is not true, the period after the X fator battle and before the clips battle surf was considered the number one, that was his run

Then clips started to battle more regularly and they battled to see who would get that spot and Clips was his 1st clear L ( no one counted the one with DNA)

This is not true, the period after the X fator battle and before the clips battle surf was considered the number one, that was his run
