Geechi material alone in the chess battle is better then anything math spit in both the clips and hollow battle. Thats front runner for BOTY right now.

They both battled in small rooms. If this was a small room i wouldn't be saying anything. Like i said this isn't a diss to 40 cause she doesn't NEED performance in the QOTR setting.

If he's going to be battling actively, I'd rather see him at his best. Like you said, he has an original skillset and approach.

But every time this dude Diz gets a little momentum, he starts promoting divisiveness and unnecessary drama. So I understand where @Big Jo is coming from regarding likability.

I completely agree. He definitely has unlikeable traits about him. But his interviews on AFM and some of his insight can be on point when he is acting level headed. Battle wise, he is one of a kind, imo.

Math dont have enough battles yet. plus its like, ok he did great vs hollow but thats one battle, and i fukk with math but damn, coty? like pat stay had 4 battles last year and didnt win it and it was all top competition. now if that math/surf happens this year and math clearly wins (which btw he didnt even clearly beat clips but i do edge math in that battle) then maybe, but im not essentially giving him coty cause of one battle vs hollow.

i don’t think there’s a clear front runner for BOTY so far. I guess to general consensus it would be Geechi again but I have him losing to Ars and Surf and Chess, even though they’re all close/dope battles.

that's one of the weird things about battle rap, the guys with the craziest material can have more L's than a person's who's nowhere near as good

a lot of that shyt has to do with your opponent and what they did imo. battlers like todd and dna get a lot of W's because no one really gets motivated to battle them like that. I can't look at their win/loss record the same as other battlers who opponents bring their best shyt for
