A 2-1 either way in the building vs Lux seems like an inevitable 2-1 Lux clear.
His writing just ages so well.

That’s said, I agree with the TBZ breh that said Lux needs to battle more, and focus on smaller stages. His aura of invincibility is gone.

Edit: Cassidy’s material is aging better than goodz... so take that aging point with a grain of salt.

We all celebrated the fairytale ending together

Now it's time to wake up to reality

It's cool... if we are judging everyone by the same standards Verb is still the GOAT

During the time period where Verb was stumbling through all his battles, he quietly started making higher quality music.

I think Chess has a certain emotion in his voice that works really well on tracks. If he were to go up to Funk Flex and get busy, I could really see the city getting behind him. Plus Flex is from the Bronx, and he always has made an effort to show love to a Bronx artist

Cavegang should put some music together as a collective. They have at least 4 or 5 members that can rap for real. Do a little EP, have Surf rap on one and get a little buzz.

I'll give Ave credit. I repeatedly kept saying last year that he was there for the taking. The guy is a winner though. I still think he's boring as hell.

Do you see the recaps from the other battlers though? They all get excited when they are talking about Ave's performance. Some of the people in the building also seemed to be wowed. So maybe there's a disconnect between the live fan, and the people watching at home. I wonder if this is similar to the in the building effect that Clips has? Ave was dominant, but it just felt like he threw 100 consecutive body blows or something.

Yo URL about to be 10 years old and I follow them since the start

I remember the 1st battle that gave me big antecipation was conceited vs goodz

The hype around That battle was crazy, bootlegs were not a thing yet and everybody on the forums were saying that goodz beat him easily

nikkas had big events every 3 months now they have them damn near every month Iam 100% sure that URL will last 10 more years so I cant wait to see how it's gonna be

I bet some of the vets kids and some washed mainstream rappers will be URL superstars

And smack Korean son running the business

Are you guys ready to admit that Rum Nitty right now is better then B-Magic in his prime? It seems like y’all have been reluctant to admit this in the past.

Let’s be objective man. If you prefer Bmagic stylistically, I understand it. But if we are being objective, not only are Rum’s bars much better, but he performs at a higher level.

I don’t think nyggas are ready to admit this the. The love old Bmagic gets is still pretty intense.
I been on record saying Nitty has the best run of any puncher

You know what, I never thought about that. At some point there’s gonna be a legacy battle rapper. Some of these cats are late thirties and maybe even pushing into their forties, I know at least one of these dudes has a teenage son out there who can spit.

Verbs writing also ages well. We can’t act like Verb is clips or dna in that regard.

Verb had a lot of filler this battle though. I feel like if you give Verb the win it's because you feel his high points were greater (Which you can easily make a case for) but Tone Bro kinda pointed out, Verb went on some long stanzas of just rapping without saying anything pertaining to Lux. Just good rapping.

Like I said before, I think Lux got the first 2, his highs were better than Verb's highs. And Verb only got the 3rd round because Lux's was flat. Verb didn't really go crazy in this battle either. The prime example was in the first, Lux's round was light and Verb still wasn't able to steal that from him. Verb only really said cold shyt in the 2nd round.

I don't feel like anyone got kilt. They both came kinda light and I feel like Verb came lighter. But Lux wasn't that much better. Maybe he might be in a few more watches :mjlit:
