I guess you could say that Rum is the next step in the evolution of punching in battle rap, just like Magic was in relation to Con. So yeah you cold say that Rum is better than prime Magic, even though Magic gave us some epic moments.

Rum is what you get when you combine the best of Con and Magic. He has stage presence/performance like Con and a unique style/stellar bars like Magic had. Of course Rum has his own identity but that's how I see him as the next step in punching. Someone with crazy back to back punches that can perform like a motherfukker.

He beat X-Factor. And supposedly he beat Shooney. But yea it's been a while since he had a clear win against someone of the same caliber. But at the same time i don't think he had any "bad performances" outside of trez

Suge has been giving battle rap fans some really great battles, which is more important than a win or loss imo. The only recent battle he's done that I dont go back to is the Chef Trez battle.

Nitty most def has more complex punches than Magic. I'm still taking a prime B-Magic over Nittys prime though.

I mean that stretch from Chilla, Tay Roc, Clips, DNA, Con in Magic's prime was greatness.

I will say Magic never had the same respect that Nitty has now from his peers. The love Nitty gets from other battle rappers is unmatched right now.

Duh that's why I said magic in his prime and not magic now

And your second paragraph is very subjective, no doubt that rum is crazy but magic still got some of the craziest lines in URL plus a battle in a farm league against some nikka named lynx or whatever where he spazzed

That's my point bar for bar they both crazy the difference is magic on his prime wasn't choking while rum( is he on his prime right now?) chokes and fukk up battles

I think the evolution of battle rap makes it that Rum is the better puncher than Magic. Just like with Con. If Con came out today people would probably say his style of punching is wack, yet he's still the most respected and beloved puncher of all time by his peers.
