its 2 bucks a week. its like buying a coffee but not everyday just once a week, now maybe you dont drink coffee or dont have any type of small expenditures, maybe youre mad good at budgeting whatever, im not telling anybody what to do with their money but I mean obviously everyone here enjoys battle rap. not all the battles even have to be good for it to be worth it. like i completely get people not copping PPV, its 50 dollars, the event might be trash and its all or nothing on that event. as long as URL keeps the app current like they have so far its good. if at some point they fall off and dont drop a battle for mad long and youre paying for nothing then i can see canceling.
That type of "I won't miss it", impulse buy shyt is the type of shyt they want. A lot of people will buy just to buy, many will buy and just forget to cancel. Just one of the many things coming off your card or out of your account every month you let roll by, and before you know it, your 96 you could have done who knows what else with os on their pocket, working for them. I don't have a problem with the app per se, but I'm not fooled by these tactics, especially Beasley's "WWE Defense". They could make it 20 with PPV and profit, they just want ALL our money. All that "nikkas should get the app just to support" shyt is shameless.

thats why i said if it stays like it is now. but i mean they prob are not gonna drop shyt on yt now so if this is the main outlet for the battles. its not like its just interviews with smack and battlers and no battles. its gonna be battles on it. i didnt even get a chance to see all the battles yet, even the semi higher profile battles like drugz vs bc. now i also copped all the recent ppv but if i hadnt, theres battles there dropping that you could see. its worth the price as of now, thats all im saying. and knowing that smack at times had yt droughts on battles. im acknowledging yes to keep an eye on it.
I highly disagree. 7.99 has "market research" all over it. It's the old Netflix price point, where a lot of people "set it and forget it" and just let the money flow out and don't think about it again. IIRC, 10 dollars is where people "see" the expense. They want you to set up a recurring sub and pay whether you watch or not.
Worth is subjective. I buy PPVs (or go when they were on the East Coast), as I value the live experience over almost everything else, so the app doesn't look like a big value to me. There's maybe 2 battles on there I really care to watch I haven't seen, and I'm not paying 8 dollars to watch 2 battles. I will likely buy a month down the line when there are a dozen or so I care about (who knows how long that could take buying PPV), watch them all and cancel. Maybe.

$8 a month is cheap as fukk but if you feel you cant do it within your budget, thats ok. Hyperbole on either side of coppin the app or not is hilarious to me. Since its really about what a fan can and cannot afford.

We know there will be "app exclusive" battles, what else can they do that's really worth a shyt at the end of the day? If they give retroactive perks to "punish" people for not blindly supporting, it would probably piss me off to the point I stop buying as much PPVs. Guaranteed backfire.

The battle isn’t going anywhere. I don’t have the urgency to see the battle and I definitely don’t go crazy for chess like you and Phillyrider.
Guys, it’s not about the money. I’m about to spend $50 on Nome 9. $50 is basically 6 months of access to the app. What I’m saying is at this point in time, I don’t give a shyt about the app. I need to see more.
Quite frankly, I’m not as enthusiastic about battle rap anyway, so I’m not missing anything. At this point in time , I’m nothing but a casual battle rap fan. You guys are the hardcore fans. Let me be like Freida Guzman or whatever his name is and pop in on certain events

It might piss you off or give you incentive to cop it. Just sayin'. Hell, its not like you can't get it anytime or cancel it anytime either. What else could they do? I figure if they have gotten into the zone with the apps, they're going to get more on their merch game maybe. Discounts on that shyt, too. I am not first person that has mentioned that either mind you. But its true. You can be pissed if you want and stop buying the PPVs but its not like they won't still sell the PPVs either for those who don't have the app.
Kind of my thinking, too. I feel like we have more of the type of fans in here who are invested in battle rap than the ones who pop out whenever they see Cassidy, Jae Millz, or Murda Mook show up on a card. Every 5 to 10 years or so. Lol.
