I like that Cass is still selling the Goodz battle, POST battle. You never know what additional sales may sneak in.

I am 100% sure that Cass is getting a cut of the PPVs, like no way is Cass doing all this just cuz :mjlol:

Its like he's almost like he's outside on a corner flipping a fukking sign around in the air and behind his back to let us know about this battle still. Lol.

Californ-i-a by way of BK

I see his point. I disagree. I feel Mount Rushmore is about more impact than actual just battles. Lux with Lionz Den discovered K-Shine, Clips, T-Roc, Arsonal, Big T, Tech 9. And then he helped usher in the midwest movement by giving Verb, Hitman and them a platform. Then of course the Calicoe battle. The man was on Howard Stern, tweeted by Jay-Z, in a Farrakhan speech, etc...

Yeah mt. rushmore is not just about amount of battles but like overall influence and impact like you said. Folks keep using mt rushmore to just put who's the hottest right now or their favs. When we're talking about actual tangible influence and reach, Lux is up there.

That's why I sometimes feel a kinda way when nikkas try to discredit him based on the amount of battles he's had, like he's just living off the past like Mook :mjlol: Like nikka, he came back and gave us back to back classic, monumental battles and to this day is still proving his mettle in and out of battle rap (flex freestyle) and he'st still a draw now.

I got Ryda beating Ave 2-1

If we’re talking weak points: Both can get repetitive but Ryda is better at rapping

Ave is really good but is also kind of a better Reepah Rell in a way. You know EXACTLY what you’re gonna get from the first bar

Maybe, but one things for sure, Ave was talking to that nikka in that interview. Where is Ryda from? That dude has no type of assertiveness/shyt talking ability. Feels like if he grew up in any type of hood he wouldn’t be such a shrinking violet. I couldn’t walk outside without having to jone or talk shyt to some of those goofy nikkas around the way. Ryda seems totally unequipped for that shyt at every turn.

Ryda is low key a loss away from being one of the losers of battle rap. The URL tried to give him a push, and had a mega trailer showcasing him vs Prez Mafia. He hasn’t taken advantage of opportunities.

The guy is just generic from his name, his style, and his look.

This nygga battles like he bought a battle rap kit imo.

I want to like him too because he seems like a cool enough dude, but it’s just nothing special about him. He’s not super lyrical, he doesn’t spit with aggression or passion, he’s not funny, he’s not overly witty with his punches (although this is probably his strongest area), his delivery is average etc. Literally anyone with a strong suit in any of those areas can overwhelm him on that stage it feels like. Hopefully the battle he had over the weekend demonstrates growth in some of those areas, we’ll see.

He’s a terrible shyt talker, yeah. I think he’s just a soft spoken guy in general but Ave is a 45 year old dad so to get barked at like that...

I think he’s from Calvert County but I can’t call it because i never met anyone from there so I have no idea what those dudes are like. Compare him to Hennyman for example, that guy screams southern md

Ryda’s best stuff has been overshadowed by him trying to be a tough guy or him trying to be a comedian. Because bro can rap, and write, but he isn’t that funny and doesn’t have a tough guy demeanor (whether or not he really is I have no idea, looks can be deceiving)

Ryda peaked with the Scorpion stance, and then got put on the back burner :mjlol: Ryda is still trying to find himself I feel. Like others said he tried to be a tough guy (and Swave/Team Homi kinda killed that), he tried to be funny but isn't really good at it. Tried to be smooth/fresh but just comes off as corny. Can't talk shyt in interviews either. he has bars but his image is just that of a regular dude.

All that being said about Ryda, the short baldhead arguing with Ave in the same video will fukk him up eventually. Fame is actually the dude he raps like and with a little more teeth cutting, a bunch of punches from Ave is not gonna do shyt to what he’s got
