So how does the deal with Harry most likely work? Does he sponsor it and doesn't expect his money back (unlikely)? Or does he get his money back and a piece of the pie? Mean he the one that fronted a lot of main events.

If he doesn't he gotta be the dumbest investor I have ever witnessed
And for the record, I don't think he is
It would depend on the event though. But that's just business period.Yup. We don't know the actual numbers, but is it fair to say the biggest name on a high profile card walks away with more money in their pocket from the event than Smack or Beasley does individually?
I know Smack and them have to split the pie several different ways, but that's gotta sting. Their slice of the pie is getting smaller and smaller.
I'd assume he's gotta be an investor though, no? Sponsors just use your platform to promote their own shyt (and obviously they pay you to do it). What business is this Harry guy even in?I dont know if he's an investor or sponsor. Big difference between the 2
the business of preserving the culchaI'd assume he's gotta be an investor though, no? Sponsors just use your platform to promote their own shyt (and obviously they pay you to do it). What business is this Harry guy even in?
yall nyggas math is terrible and according to u they are giving the main event almost triple what they makeHitman did great in the interview
Another thing, these guys really underestimate how much Smack and them make. Not to shyt on them, but I know the cost of renting out venues. Webster Hall is like 15-20 K. Cool. They selling 100 for GA, probably around 1,000 tickets. That's 100 K. VIP is usually like 250, they sell another 150 that's another 37.5 K, plus another 100 for stage passes, which is abut 300 a piece, which is 30K. So they're bringing in 167,000 dollars. I'm not even counting if they have a part of the bar. Security plus venue is about 25 K. That leaves 142.5 K.
Let's say you do a 6 battle card
Maineventers = 40 K
Semi Main = 15 K
Undercard = 12 K
Undercard = 8 K
Undercard = 6 K
Undercard = 6 K
That leaves 57.5 thousand to split between mostly Cheeko, Smack and Beas. They all bringing home 15 K or so a piece, if they split it evenly, with a remaining 12 K, which goes to I guess the Norbes, other people who helped, and other expenses that arise. Now I'm not saying their getting rich off these events, but they're clearly bringing in profits. Smack is a hustler from Queens, nikkas honestly think he'd still be running 5-6 events a year if he wasn't making profits? I'm not saying he's balling from battle rap, and I'm not saying he's never took losses, but to act like these guys are struggling to put events together is hogwash.
How is my math terrible, when it was accurate?yall nyggas math is terrible and according to u they are giving the main event almost triple what they make
not including alot of expenses like insurance and camera men
can tell yall aint never run a business
you really think its smart to give someone triple what u make when u take all the risk
Nyggas really be acting like they own them something SMACK will survive without hitman
no one man will ever stop the show

U have inside info?How is my math terrible, when it was accurate?
And they almost always take home less than the maineventers that's just how battle rap is set up. Until battle rap has major sponsors like sporting leagues that's always how it'll be set up.
Saying "you think it's smart to..." Is a stupid question considering that's how they've been doing it for 5 years now. They know that's the model of the business. Regardless if it's smart or not that's how it's set up. You act like I created a scenario out of the thin blue sky. That's not exactly to a T how the numbers come out but a rough estimate for their bigger shows. They bring home revenue. That's great because most leagues will be lucky to break even for events. For them to net close to 60K is amazing.
Yall in here tappin URL pockets while they continue to drop promos for BL3
Shotgun and Jai
Shotgun talkin about a possible rematch wit Tay that shyt would be CRAZY
