I hope I'm wrong, but I got Wavy edging 2-1

Wavy has done extremely well in small rooms. There's no way he takes all that time off, and doesn't step his bars up. Plus crackhead bars are almost a cheat code for an NYC dude. We all have entertaining crackhead stories, it's nothing to weave Yung Ill into one of them.
Don't fool yourself into thinking the crackhead angle isn't going to hit hard, especially given Wavy's performance skill.
Ill will have his one magical round, but I think we're going to see some rust and a lot of arm flailing. Not sure if we're going to see the Ill who can completely control a room yet. On top of that, I can't see him getting up for battling Wavy. His next battle might be booked already.

Let's just look at the rookies v vets battles

Prep v Chilla 458k
Aye Verb v Brizz = 640k
Suge v TheSaga = 853k
Wavy v K Shine = 1,128,000
DNA v Chess = 1,181,000
Clips v T-Top 1,292,000

Would you have guessed that was the order? The only battle we still talk about on here is Suge v Saga. And that's because Suge had a breakout performance.

Wavy's next battle after that was Summer Madness. He's not getting talked about, because he doesn't battle enough. But he's always done views, since his Wegohard days.

Let's stop pretending we know who is really popping based off of the conversations that we have with other die hard battle fans. If you think he's wack, I have no issue with that. It's preference. But I can say I saw them both at Born Legacy 1, and Wavy did a better job of keeping the crowd's attention with weak bars than Yung Ill did with decent to good bars.

I thought Yung Ill was dope vs Daylyt. But he was at home, vs someone that he wanted to battle. I don't see him wanting to battle Wavy, it's just him getting his feet wet vs someone who isn't probably isn't capable of bodying him.
