I didn't hear that. Was watching a youtube blogger, forget who. They said Math got smoked but his 1st and 3rd had some strong moments. Sounded more like a killer three rounds from Top than a Clips level awful performance. I guess we'll see when the footage drops though. Either way, it aint gonna be pretty. I get what y'all saying, Surf doesn't quite have a "reason" to battle Cortez. But he literally spends the whole day going back and forth with dude on Twitter? Surf either feels like Cortez is worth is time and energy or he isn't.
It's all this picky matchmaking that's ruining the sh1t. None of these top tier clowns actually want to battle each other, they just want to keep their name out there. Surf is pulling the shame sh1t now.

In a perfect world Surf would take Cortez in a medium sized room and put on a good show for the fans. And they both get paid. I mean, obviously it's hyperbole/exaggeration, but the point is Cortez's stock/name is not rising. He is who he is at this point, it's not like he's some up-and-comer whose legacy is going to improve. He's really just looked at as another battler, and seeing as it's unreasonable to expect for someone his age to change/improve their style/skill level, that's all he's ever going to be seen as. I'm talking perception here.
And LOL @ comparing Cortez taking Uno to Surfr taking Cortez. Cortez just isn't at a level where he can have a reason to not take somebody. I get it, you like Cortez, you think he's dope or whatever, and maybe I'm being a little too harsh on him, but Cortez just doesn't have that "it" factor.

Cortez takin uno is not the same as surf takon cortez man stop it.
Battlin a nikka just cuz he called you out leads to uninspired bars 95% of the time, especially for alot of the vets who "talk" to their opponents and arent really bar heavy.
How u gon "talk" to a nikka u aint even interested in battling to begin with? Would you spend 2-3 months of your time preparing rounds for a nikka u aint even interested in battling? No, you wouldnt, and if you did the bars would be half assed. Trolling a nikka on twitter hardly takes any energy to do breh, you know this.
Cortez hasn't bodied ANYONE to the point where he should be feared, so nikkas not battling him is just them not respectin his ass, not them hiding to protect their image.
Lux thinks he's better than 99% of the nikkas in battle rap, so by your logic he should battle everyone who calls him out? If he knows he can beat them where is his inspiration gonna come from?
