where is serious Jones status? From my point of view, he was at the same level as Mook & lux going into sm2. Now, he would struggle to get a battle with hollow.

Serius Jones layed it all out there on Angryfan yesterday. He acknowledged that his status took a big hit simply because he didn't network as much as guys like Mook & Lux did after the Smack era died out. He understands he needs a few kills to possibly be considered in the same light that he once was, so he plans to be pretty active this year.

I'm listening right now. I think it's because he came in sounding like 2005 into his battles.

He should have did the total slaughter. Mook's status was rock bottom until that event.

Verb should be looking to make this Jones battle.

I'm mainly talkin about Verb and Diz. But over the last 15 years Lux hasn't been away from home in a hostile and unfamiliar place to battle.

If Diz wants to battle Lux he has the best chance of making Lux take a road game. That's because in the past he has secured the financial backing for opponents who were even bigger names than Lux. But Diz wants Hollow more than he wants Lux.
Verb doesn't have the same type of backing.

As for your sidebar, at the end of 2013 I was ready to make a "Top 5 greatest ever, possibly the GOAT" argument for Verb. That was the year he had impressive CLEAR wins over a still highly ranked Cortez (I gotta double back like a Camel) , Dizaster and Arsonal. But from 2014 on Verb started getting flabby and it was all downhill.

Of course Verb has not been the Verb of 2011-14. Why? Because that nikka battles way more than lux has. Lux don't battle like that. So obviously there is less risk of him "falling off"

Exactly, outside of verb in stl or diz in cali there's nowhere else he could really go for a challenge, and like wizworld was sayin those other places dont have as strong of a battlerap fanbase than NY, they aren't guaranteed sell out events loke they would be there

All of Lux's contemporaries live in NY he can't control that, if Mook/Hollow/Clips lived somewhere else then your point woulda been stronger

If reed didnt get washed by TODD he prolly coulda got lux to come to philly no problem

That's true, I missed that part of the timeline. But look at how it played out. Listen to what he says at these points in the interview.
:43 "He ruined an opportunity for my Krack City comrade Daylyt"
3:45 "Math is scared to come out to LA"
This had way more to do with Krack City and how they felt about Math than it had to do with Serius. Remember, a few of them rolled out with Daylyt to SM3.

There's a reason why Diz went to NYC and played it cool. He didn't feel safe coming at Math like that out there. Ultimately, I feel like Krack City was behind this. Diz didn't punch Math for ruining the culture of battle rap, for Serius Jones, or because Math was running away sponsors.

Answer this for me. What offers is lux getting to battle in other states? I'm positive other promoters don't even try (except mz gracie) because he isn't cheap.
