Legit curious about why you don't like Nitty/Ave. Not coming after your opinion, but this was one I figured would be undeniable due to the dudes having different styles and showing out.

I'll elaborate when I get home.

Nothing in battle rap is undeniable.

You hate Tay roc. You didn't care for hollow/lux.

My question earlier proved that there is always someone who isn't gonna like something that the majority does.

:ehh:Good points.

I don't hate Roc. I mostly just literally don't understand the level of love he gets for what he does.

When I say undeniable, I don't mean I thought everyone would have it as a classic. I meant it more like the battle covered a lot of the "big" areas that make for a good show.

I could understand not liking Nitty vs. Ave, it was a "Bar" battle and some people don't like those. Lines were pretty much generic and not directed at each other that often

I usually don't care for those type of battles but I happen to love that specific one. To me it was dope because they had more flavor to it then those bar battles usually have and they were very creative.

What big areas? They are one dimensional punchline guys.

I'm not sure where to begin.

I will start with the actual battlers. I don't care for either guy, so there was already a high chance I wouldn't like the battle anyway.

We will start with Rum Nitty. I don't think he sounds good. For me, his voice is up there with Todd as one of the worst voices in battle rap. I don't like his voice, delivery, or punchlines. Although creative at times, I find a lot of his punchlines to be really corny. It's admirable he can punch differently with movie/video references, but I don't think the shyt is hot.

As far as Ave, I just don't like the way he raps. He doesn't really irritate me like Nitty does, but I can't get into him.

However, I put that to the side & gave the battle a far listen before I cut it off.

I attempted to watch it for what it is. This is a bar fest right? Well, I hated the bars. The bars weren't hot to me. I just thought a lot of the material was corny. Perhaps creative, but corny.

This nygga Rum Nitty has some corny ass punchlines & wordplay. All the shyt he says is just corny to me.

"My white boys from queen say, soon as he's done leave he finna shoot (dunleavy)"
"Norbes & myers put paper down for this shyt, public restroom"
"I'll fukk your bytch p*ssy with the 9 barrel"
"I'll let it wet across your forehead like holy water"
"Trying to get rid of your house in virginia like Magic Johnson"

It's just not the type of shyt I'm trying to hear. :manny:

I'll black in let it fly in his face like feba children was hot. It sounded natural.

Rum Nitty is getting most of my attention in this post because I just can't listen to the guy. I'm so indifferent about Ave. He's not corny, but I don't find myself going crazy for his bars either.

I thought Ty Law vs a stumbling Bmagic was a better battle.

I thought Rum kept the name flips flowing, but I take your point regarding the one size fits all bars that bar heavy dudes rely on.

Can't hate you for that.. If you don't fukk with the dudes, you just don't.

I know the feeling.
