NINE straight dope rounds from Ave. Let's talk about it. How many battlers are giving us that type of consistency?

There's no reason for me to believe there will be a drop-off. He doesn't do much in the way of performance, so he can only get better in that area. And lowkey he's got the BEST hypeman in battle rap standing next to him, which is Tay Roc.
T-Top didn't want to take him for a "Rookies v Sophomores" card, and that is somewhat disappointing. But we don't even know if Rookies v Sophomores is really happening anyway. I might be getting ahead of myself, but I think Ave is one dope URL battle away from Ave v T-Top sounding like a nice Summer Madness match-up.

It's only unavoidable unless he's willing to add more to his game.

So if Rum Nitty has to take one more before getting Roc, who should it be? What would be a dope match-up for Nitty? I'll say it again, Nitty vs Chess did great numbers under the circumstances, but that battle would have made more sense if it happened now.

Brizz is the only battle that I can think of that makes sense for Nitty right now, but if not him then who?

Realistically, it could be another mid tier guy like a Cortez, who he has called out numerous times.

If the URL is really actively trying to book Rum Nitty/Tay Roc, making a Rum/Cortez battle would just be dumb. Cortez could potentially shut down all that hype & it just would be the wrong move.

They really have to be careful how they match Rum.

Bigg K is a punchline guy and he hasn't fallen off. He's not hot as he was in 2014, but he hasn't fallen off. Do you think Bigg K is nicer than Ave? I don't think so, K just has a slightly stronger stage presence.
Danny Myers has some up and down performances, but he hasn't fallen off either.

Rum Nitty vs Suge? I don't really see the angle. At this point I want to only see Suge against opponents that motivate him.

I see no reason to vault battles, unless Smack just wants to sit on a lot of unreleased sh1t and drop a vault DVD or premium subscription site for it one day. Not the worst idea I guess

Incentive to go to live shows. You're gonna see a battle or multiple that are never going to be released to the general public.

Bigg K does more than punchlines. He can freestyle, rebuttal, storytelling, jokes, personals, real talk, ect. Not as one dimensional as most punchline rappers.

Danny is also capable of doing more than punchlines.

That is the only thing I've seen Ave do. If he has shown more, please direct me to the battles because I'll admit I haven't seen many.

From a promoter standpoint, it's a bad business move. If the end game is roc/Nitty, why would you put Nitty in with a guy like Suge who could just overwhelm him with aggression?

He's getting hype from the ave battle. Why not put him in there with another mid tier nygga so he can gain more hype?

Speaking of DNA, I actually rewatched one of his battles. He fukking smoked Roc. That was probably the best dna ever vs Roc.
