@EzekelRAGE you forget the first caffeine event happened at like the beginning of covid, which ended up being the perfect time for everyone to start streaming whatever they did from home and make money, yea caffeine had a bigger bag at that point but if you look at caffeine themselves you knew that wasn't going to last.



This would've been the easiest time period to jump on into the game, they were already jumping on "radio" shows and clubhouse at this point daily, why not do the same shyt on a sturdier platform? Everybody in the music world jumped on there and made a profit no name producers and DJ's ran up the money, shyt was a free for all


Them nikkas dumb now we back to ppv and pretending they can stop bootleggers

You right there is an avenue for them with twitch though. All of them gun bars and shyt will hit on GTA where they can actually show them. Imagine somebody getting cooked in a battle and start a shootout cuz he losing.

They never had the ppv formula though. All their events were free until the URL relationship soured and they tried to charge for the last couple events. Im not even sure how they generated money with URL. Because they footed the bill on everything from battlers to venues, etc. They didnt play ads for URL events either. No one questioned the business of the app for URL. The problem was their star making power, which is still questioned.

URL could definitely improve in certain areas to be more effective, but I’ve always said that their longevity is impressive. They found a formula to make money in battle rap, a genre where there’s really no money.

We’ve seen Total Slaughter, Snoop, Mistah Fab, Aliki David, etc see what the URL does, thinks it’s cool, try it, and quickly realizes that there’s no money in this.

It's not worth anything because anyone with any internet sense knew caffeine wasn't beating twitch at nothin, they were losing money tryna buy content, meanwhile twitch is still there and you had access to WAY more people, who was logging into caffeine casually besides battle rap fans? Nobody thinks long term in battle rap for some reason

Random idea: Them nikkas coulda made bank running a GTA roleplay situation like tee grizzly, the game literally has everything battle rap fans think about anyway, could've had 1 round battles right before a shootout amongst other fukkery

shyt tbf a blogger or someone with the time to set it up could still do that now, all these nikkas just be sitting there on the phone anyway for hours doing nothing.
