So ARP confirmed he’s finished which I consider it to mean battle rap is finished. If anyone gets hot enough they’ll just be signed to smack and put behind the app wall.

ARP retired but it sounds like RBE will continue on without their face piece
makes me wonder how that's gonna happen
watching more of this video to figure out what he means by retirement, basically he won't be doing ppvs/vods for RBE.
he may still be doing the Full Circle events which one was gonna be recording this weekend
he's also down to pay for battles and have them on other events such as Chrome if he can get the footage

It's smart on his part. What's he going to do? The whole Bigg K/Award/Showoff/Ill Will cards has ran its course.
There's just no new talent in battle rap, which is really the reason for battle raps' demise. The key to any company is bringing in fresh talent and the culture has failed to deliver that for whatever reason.
As a result, there's no fresh matchups, everyone has already battled everyone, etc.
You got Tay Roc reduced to battling guys that I've never heard of just to pay the rent.
If URL doesn't start taking its recruiting seriously and make it cool to battle rap, I just don't see how this can change.

It's funny that's the situation with Battle Rap as a whole, I never understood what was the point of Norbes being in that video with ARP some years back. We would of thought, he would of picked Norbes up to scout talent for Rbe. At that time it would of been deemed petty, but overall it would of been an attempt keep the talent pool within battle rap going in the long run.

Why wouldn't Arp work with Norbes?. It's not like it would of been a loss. Arp would of had a opportunity to build his own talent for his platform. Specifically better talent, because the no names that battle on Rbe ain't cuttin' the mustard either lol.
