It’s funny how he came into the game with the image of a “street/hustlin” nygga that would put up some money to fund events and has transitioned into a battle rap nerd.
The last battle where he looked that part was probably Snake Eyez. Nowadays it seems like he just throws on anything to his battles and is just a battle rap nerd blogger.
I think his initial angle was to come in to battle rap and use it as a stepping stone like Flip & Math. The problem is he doesn’t quite have the “it” factor like those guys. He tried every angle on his platform (podcasts, interviews, radio shows, etc) and nothing took off. He eventually found a lane embracing being a battle rap nerd.
I think he hustles enough that his Youtube platform will pay his bills.
His peak as "Hennyman" was when he was doing battle raps version of Drink Champs, but when he had to stop that he had to do some scrambling.
