I'm all for nitty and JC taking all the battles they want/need but then don't cry why Lux won't take them. We all know Lux rightfully or not has high demands when it comes to his opponents profile.

Battle Rap should not be anyone's main source of income unless your elite status and can actually demand certain bags lol. I get the gist of waiting on a Lux battle would be a year or more to wait, ma point is to wisely pick and choose the battles along the way, leading up to the Lux battle. They all dress it up as "I'm a warrior" battling 32 times a month, when you really just need the money at the end of the day.

Nitty and geechi and suge and roc etc actually get bigger bags for taking the up and Comers mainly because the new guys don't command much now and for being on app only events (confirmed by many battle rappers.) If the battle was booked I would be somewhat in agreement that they should sit to build the hype to the battle. But until the battle is booked those dudes is doing right by collecting them checks. URL is throwing 10 events a year and these guys doing 5-6 of them at 10k-20k a pop. It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest they turn that money down at the hope to battle Lux. That's not even mentioning the battles they doing on other leagues for the same kind of money. That is crazy smh

This a new era and even guys who are bigger in name hitman and Clips don't get 80k per battle and they outside more and they more popular across the board.

But what is wrong with battling 6-8 times a year? Why is this being spoken on as if it's some sort of slave labor or something? They are making possibly 100k or more a year to rap! It's thousands of rappers dropping mixtapes and songs on SoundCloud etc not making nearly as much money still having to work a labor job. These guys get to rap and travel the country on a leagues dime. Sounds like a pretty good life to me. Don't know why only battling a couple times a year is some sort of major goal here.

There is nothing wrong with it, if you just want to battle. But if you want to battle the top tier/money battles like a Lux or Hitman etc, then it becomes an issue. Especially with how Rum/JC do it. They take any and everyone that's put in front of them. Hell the number of battles probably wouldnt even that big of an issue if Rum/JC/DNA were bigger draws. There is a reason why Lux is chasing hitman, Lux would chase hitman even if he just got 30'd, because Hitman would still be a draw. Hitman said him and ARP turned down the Lux battle before because he had another battle scheduled like a month beforehand and they didnt know who it would be again. They also want like a 2 month grace period before the battle to promot.

Are there many highly marketable battelers that battle 6-8x a year that you consider a draw as well? Legit question Im a casual.
Seems like you would be able to count them on one hand.

Verb didn't "chill" we shouldn't rewrite history. He was booked vs Iron Solomon for an RBE card when URL called with Lux, he backed out and sent back the deposit. That's why Verb & ARP had issues.

That was booked before the Lux battle got locked in. After Verb returned the deposit, ARP was being petty and still made the announcement.
