That’s a good first opponent for Brizz. Showoff is mid.

This is really a letdown opponent for a Brizz comeback. I’m low key surprised he even took it but I’m assuming that bag must have been silly.

Yeah, but I think it’s probably the first battle with more to come with RBE. They threw him a decent tune up match, which may mean that they are investing in building his profile back up

Yes, although you could argue Low top tier.

Top Tier is based on popularity. Bigg K couldn’t even get 1M with Mook.

You view these guys as ticket sellers? You view them as big money guys? Interesting

Mook couldn’t 1 mill off url, does that mean he’s not top tier? K and Ill will are card headliners on big cards and both have arguably beat god tiers battlers. They are top tier.

This is an alley oop to Showoff. If ARP gets credit for nothing else, he gets props for looking out for his main guys. Probably not a bad guy to have a good relationship with.

But outside of Mook (obviously), only Gotti, Surf, Hitman and EZ made sense for return battles for Brizz over the time he’s been hiding. It just is surprising to see it be this bum Showoff at the end.

The sooner we get off this “top tier” thing the better the community will be.

If we going off of views we will never have a top tier battler again (outside of the already established greats)

I’m not a Big K fan, but he’s been cooking this year and deserves the looks.

Brizz was a professional 90% of his career and won a lotta battles,
yet nikkas hating because he got snuffed.

But other battlerappers choking every battle and it’s excuse after excuse.

nikkas caring about views they don’t even get paid off of opposed to the craft they’re supposed to be entertained by.

But nikkas wonder why the Battle scene is weak and Battlerap media is covering BULLSHYT and dysfunction all the time.

I’ve already said that I don’t think it’s possible. The issue with RBE is that their core guys aren’t my cup of tea.

Their core is Ill Will/Bigg K/Rosenberg Raw/Showoff/AWard

and building a card around those guys isn’t going to do it for me.

However, I do like that people are excited about the card.

is there any battle/group of battles right now that would work?

because in my opinion it's kinda dry out there even for URL doing a Summer Madness

I'm not a fan of A Ward but him and Verb is a grudge, and I'm personally interested in that. Especially how Verb does. Battles when both battlers genuine don't like each other but you know the battle will be completed and not end in a fight >>>>>>>

If I thought Ward was nice like that, this would be a perfect grudge match. A legendary vet vs the new "It" guy who everyone is saying is the better battler currently. I don't like grudge matches when they get too personal like Hustle vs Coffee because they couldn't even finish it. But this has just the right amount of friction lol.

Ill Will vs Hitman is one of those matches where the league has officially pushed Will as their number guy so he deserves the battle. It will be a nice moment for his career. I think Hitman actually needs to win this battle or at least put on a great performance. Last few Hitman battles have been lackluster on his end.

Agreed. Both those battles come with a narrative and a reason to watch. Not really sure how they're mid.

Is it 75 dollarz dope? Hell no lol but it's dope

The push back from me is the hype the card got and so far is see 3 battles that likely will be mid. Only battle with potential to be fire imo is verb vs award due to the animosity but I can also easily see award stomping verb to dust while verb is rappity rapping and getting a participation award from the crowd for just being there. I don't expect much out of Yung ill, how many times we go do the ill come back and watch him just kind of be there and bigg k is dope but he can be very dry and hitman has been mid as well especially after wild n out although ill will been fire. That doesn't scream helluva card for me. And if the next announcement is brizz vs trash ass showoff then again I'm not seeing this great card. It's all nostalgia at this point a bunch of names.

We gotta face it, apart from Easy there haven't been any others that really broke through to the point they're popular enough to sell a main card.

Both RBE and URL are kinda forced to book the same ol vets cause they have no other choice. 2023 been ass overall.

75 bucks for an RBE event is ludicrous tho lol.

It’s not $75, it’s still $65, so you are getting a deal. Especially since the word is that the next announcement is way bigger than this Yung Ill battle.

Also, it looks like Showoff was capping. Brizz is NOT on this card

I’m fukking with this card . Brizz coming back against show makes sense. He might need to knockout ring rust before battling a big name. Ill Will and Hitman are two of my favorite battlers, plus Verb promotion been A12. I’m definitely copping the PPV.
