I actually like this card (but I haven't watched a URL event all year).
To me they need to do more cards like this so they can build up some of these other guys, but these can't all be App only events.
Them K-Shine “Real Sick” flips was kinda ass to me, lol… crowd erupted tho,

Twork no showed another battle. At this point I don’t t even blame Twork. If you book Twork with his history of no showing and choking that is on you. You know the risk you take booking Twork, and Qleen. Jai should know better

After Chilla won COTY, Mickey Factz approached him to join him at Pendulum Ink.
They run an school together full-time.
Chilla is the co-founder over there.
Mickey literally said he makes no decision without his involvement.
Chilla doesn’t need Battlerap and simply decided to focus on Pendulum Ink.

Lupe Fiasco has SOSA and is a professor over at MIT.
Mickey and Chilla are in SOSA and started their branch with Pendulum Ink. They’re creating new literary terms and writing literature about Hiphop.
They got Professors in Jazz, psychology, etc contributing. And that’s ON TOP of legendary rappers contributing.
When we praise our rappers saying:
“such and such is on par with *insert poet*,
what the likes of Lupe, Mickey and Chilla are doing,
is showing it ACADEMICALLY on a verified world-class level.
Personally, I have kept my eyes on SOSA because when Lupe spoke about it, he did so with intention and a clear goal to what it would be, could turn into and mean to Hiphop.
So to see him follow through with SOSA and get to MIT speaks to their dedication and professionalism.
Pendulum being a branch of what he built and adding to THAT is dope as hell to me.
They are adding to Black culture being documented and respected among the best universities in the world.
It actually surprises me it ain’t more popular and spoken about, because shyt is truly amazing if you ask me.
That’s legacy defining shyt right there that the whole culture benefits from.
So yeah, Chilla might not be active in Battlerap,
but to say he mismanaged his career with what he got goin on.

But Eazy looks wild. Pap ignored him, if he's on the outs with Rem, he's fukked. But he may not be, just gotta wait and see.
