nikkas in Battlerap just wild immature so it gets ignored and deflected because nikkas wanna convince themselves it’s not that to uphold that image of bein “cool”

I’ve said it before, it seems it will take Battlerap to experience a Death of a known toptier battler in order to have some sort of reflection / reset.

It’s crazy how “the Battlerap culture” still chooses to behave like this when it’s really not necessary since most of it is actually Black owned.

If I was on board with SMACK/URL specifically I woulda BEEN managed that shyt with an iron fist to get nikkas in line and get it together. The positive trickle down effect on the culture would happen naturally.

A lotta the issues are self inflicted.
Like SMACK choosing not to show true leadership when Surf was outta pocket.

The culture was payin attention and was blatantly told good behavior isn’t rewarded and bad behavior has no consequences.

If he woulda took a stance right then and there the trickle down effect would bring in more quality behavior / battles and therefor more money on a long term basis, with less unnecessary bullshyt to waste time and resources on.

URL booking Cassidy vs Freeway is one of the URL's biggest blunders. Why would the URL even book this battle? When you book battles like this, it's like you're completely oblivious to what the people want to see. No one wants to see Freeway battle.

In fact, no one wants to see any rap artists battle like that anymore. That time has passed.

I mean, apparently URL doesn’t actually want to see it either based on how long ago they announced it and they still haven’t actually set it up.
