battle rap is weird in a sense that a lot of the time the people who battle nearly regardless of tier (JC, Danny, to an extent Ave for a minute) get ducked by the top tiers/vets and have to go on some greater-than-usual run to draw those people out

makes working hard and being a mainstay almost sound like its not worth it if you're trying to get a decent payday

Normally I dont care for the extra "promo" shyt in battlerap, but this is where JC needs to get down and dirty. He cant let Surf skew the perspective of JC any more than what it already is... This is shyt is going to play into how people perceive him DURING the battle.
