Even when I was like 8 years old watching Superfriends I thought it was the dumbest shyt ever. lol

So ridiculous. Honestly, I wanted to see more of a thicker woman play Wonder Woman. She is FINALLY featured in a big movie and instead of giving us a female superhero tantamount to the men (ie: jacked, big, strong), we got a waif thin white girl who looks like I could take her out with my left tit.

I wanted to see a Serena Williams-esque woman beating some ass.

the trailers didnt show what ww did in the fight, didnt show how she entered the fight, didnt show what sup & bat did in the fight, didnt show bat & sup's fight scene for scene, exactly how they are in the movie like you proclaimed....

Not the only but it's up there. shyt was mad underwhelming bruh. All the major scenes spoiled in the trailers. Yeah its not the only movie to do that, but it had nothing else to fall back on besides the unseen DOS. Just seemed like this was a money grab and no real effort to make a home run movie. So yeah I felt scammed on this flick which I backed for a long time, I lm not a hater or a stan. I just wanted a dope fukking flick and I don't think that was delivered.

everything you said can be said for any other action film for the last however many years....they are all cash grabs and show a lot of the action in trailers to get people to come see them...no need to try to make it seem like bvs is an exception....but whatever, you didnt like the film, that's cool....

Man of Steel is far better then this movie on every level. And for Superman, his portrayal made sense in Man of Steel because it was his origin. It was the beginning to his story. I feel like at the end of Man of Steel they showed signs that he was going to become the person we know him to be when speaking to the General however, they made him worse. This dull, mute and depressing portrayal just doesnt work on a Superman that is suppose to be already establish in this world. Superman is never suspose to have a personaility like Dr.Manhattan. It goes against everything that Superman is suppose to be. I honestly wish Synder would have just stuck with a more conservative superman like the one in Justice League Unlimited or the animated series.

Even Batman fan can acknowledge how awful this version of Superman is in this movie.

What at the end of man of steel indicated to you that superman's characterisation was going to be different, like killing zod and causing all that destruction was going to suddenly make him charismatic and bursting with optimism? What kind of idiot writer would do that.In the short convo with Barack Obama he was the same sullen plank of wood he had been the entire movie.

So you and any other dude that complain about superman in BvS but love man of steel are contradicting yourself. If your problem is with how he got handed by batman that's another matter but characterisation wise he was the same only now we had batman, kryptonite and more traditional callbacks to the comics not bullshyt like not being able to breath the first moments on another planet e.t.c

How not? Lex creating a Frankenstein monster to kill Superman..... why use Doomsday when Bizzaro is precisely that in description as well as in origin?

Okay for me, the flaws are technical ones that Snyder has always had an issue with: the movie length, the editing, the pacing, and some narrative issues that he tries to smooth out to varying degrees of success and that has a lot to do with the editing and pace. The good is that it is a logical extension of what happened in man of steel rather than trying to act like that didn't happen, and superman is dealing with his own issues because of that. He's trying to figure out how to be a hero and what is the true meaning of what he does if there will always be people who kill him in the press for it. Unchecked power, godlike ability, etc. Batman is good, Wonder Woman is good, Lex has moments of good but then moments of meh or straight up so he's a mixed bag for the most part. And the action is of course on point as you'd expect a Snyder movie to be and it does set up some very interesting things for the next round of movies, specifically justice league. It might be the closest to comic book batman on screen but yeah it is a dark movie. There are brief moments of levity but it's not concerned with that and that clearly is an subjective thing
