Upon thinking about it. Doomsday shouldn't have been used in this film.

It should have Bizarro.

They should have saved Doomsday for the Justice League film.

Nor should they have killed Superman yet. I know it's not my movie, but WB kinda blew their load early with this.

Copola didn't have the good will, he just had the beauty of the studio not really giving a fukk about his little B-movie gangster picture. I mean they gave a fukk but not as much as they would now. And with godfather 2, they were completely hands off...and then with godfather 3, they should've been a lot more hands-on because that movie needed a savior

Yeah as I watched it I was saying to my bro they are burning through what we've scene in the trailer scene for scene only it's longer in the movie. The only thing the trailer didn't show was superman and doomsday impale one another. Trailer was like an abridged version of the entire movie, it was insane how much we knew and how much they showed

This exact same thing happened with Watchmen.......and guess who's the jackass that directed that.

This was the same exact movie as Watchmen. Superman was Dr Manhattan. Batman was Rorschach and Luther was the superhero that turned bad and was behind everything. The movie played out the exact same way like literally the exact same sequence of events and it was the same theologically and ideology

All the people that had a problem with superman's portrayal in this can you explain how you loved it in man of steel (which was a worse movie on all fronts)

Man of Steel is far better then this movie on every level. And for Superman, his portrayal made sense in Man of Steel because it was his origin. It was the beginning to his story. I feel like at the end of Man of Steel they showed signs that he was going to become the person we know him to be when speaking to the General however, they made him worse. This dull, mute and depressing portrayal just doesnt work on a Superman that is suppose to be already establish in this world. Superman is never suspose to have a personaility like Dr.Manhattan. It goes against everything that Superman is suppose to be. I honestly wish Synder would have just stuck with a more conservative superman like the one in Justice League Unlimited or the animated series.

Even Batman fan can acknowledge how awful this version of Superman is in this movie.
