What reason would he have to not fight Zod himself? Protecting his identity? If so, he has no ground to stand on not trusting Clark when Clark was man enough to turn himself in. Matter fact, I'm sure everyone trusted and looked up to the general so if he exposes that he too is an alien it'd make it a lot easier for people to trust Clark.
Same reason why no one else exposed themselves if we going down that route. Other metahumans are around but no one wanted to step up. Hell WonderWoman didn't even wanna step up but she was almost forced to since she got exposed. Turkish Airlines coach was in her future.

You should know damn well Warner Bros would not put Frank Miller's The Dark Night Returns trilogy and The Death of Superman on film. We should be grateful for the bits and pieces they were able to put on film and happy Shaq didn't make a cameo as Steel.
Batman V Superman was better than I expected. This is probably my fav superhero movie because they combined storyline beats from The Dark Knight Returns and The Death of Superman. It's clear that this movie was made for fans of the comics. Superman getting ****** and his **** were all in the comics around 20 years ago. It's clear that the critics did not study their source material. This movie was a homage.

They grabbed a few scenes from panels but overall this movie is basically snyder's vision of those comics and nothing more.

Movie was not the epic superhero classic it was hyped to be, BUT it was pretty damn solid and active as fukk.
Honestly, Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is entertaining as hell. The traditional Luthor is the prototype boss villain and is just stale so the more eccentric version is refreshing. I just wish they got someone who looked like comic book Lex and not a 22 year old techie.

Just cause it wasnt exactly what you wanted it to be doesnt mean you cant enjoy and appreciate it for what it is. For example you knew going in you were getting a different take on lex Luther from the jump. Once you stop comparing him to what you think a lex is like you will realize he was a dope ass villian and actually killed the role coming full circle to a more "classic" lex at the end.
As a comic book fan i enjoyed seeing the depictions of a lot of things from the comics for the first time on the big screen. How can you NOT appreciate that if you are a true comic fan. Thats why i loved man of steel. It was the first time they depicted supes and the kryptonians powers correctly on film. Humans were no match. The destruction is what would happen.
In BvS This is the first time we have seen batman in action scenes like this and his fighting done right. Supes getting bodied.. doomsday, Wonder woman had the lasso and everything.. speedforce and the flash.. darkseid teases etc. Sometimes you just gotta sit back and enjoy the piff.

nah once i stopped comparing lex to his comic counterpart i still realized he was a whiny snob who's only reason for not liking supes is cuz he's a whiny psychotic snob who just wants to kill the most powerful being on earth.

I agree with the man of steel stuff and finally seeing supes power on screen but thats most of the reason i give MoS a 8/10 cuz i think everything else is pretty lackluster but the action is great.
I agree with the batman fighting tho (well except for a few parts in the knightmare sequence where u could clearly see dudes reacting just a few seconds before ben threw them or hit them which was kinda nolan-esque) but yet and still Im a true batman fan so im sorry, changing him to a murderer wasnt my cup of tea. His moral ground whether u believe it to be wrong or not was always one of his best attributes to me because he nvr lets a villain take him over the edge like that. Whats crazy is that zack could've easily made the bullets bats uses rubber but he decided "nah im gonna do wtf i want with bats and fukk his iconic brand and anybody that likes it"....
then u have wonder woman who was good but in the ending battle zack chose to nvr really give her, her full just do
like the part where she lasso's doomsday....they kinda sorta let the shield and bracelets get their shine (even tho she basically only used them once) but when it comes to the lasso they literally just cut to her using it. No buildup, or anything just cut to doomsday being tied up

its funny u bring up flash and the speedforce tho cuz if i didnt know the actor thats playing him i would've been sooooo confused by that scene. My homeboy next to me like "is that ironman" even tho he knows damn well its not and im like "i think thats flash " but for some reason his lil light is white and not gold or whatever. More than a few ppl were confused by that. Again why did zack not just make the damn light gold to not have dudes confused its like he doesnt wanna truly stick to the comics with anything
but like i told my brother these arent flicks for true comic fans, these are movies for ppl who wanna see their heroes in cool action scenes...nothing more, nothing less

Rarely will their fights, motivations and ending resolutions be the same whenever comics cross mediums. I've read and own Superman and Batman novels and comics. I've watched their animated movies, cartoons and live-action TV shows and movies. These make-belief characters are not as consistent as you would like them to be because they always change depending on who is writing the character. This is why 'a few scenes grabbed from comic panels' are so important because while the 'motivations etc' change with every writer who touches and puts their spin on Batman and Superman, some things at least remain the same, and that's fukking awesome.
These nikkas are more than fair. Had the same rating as me about 6.5 or 7.5 out of 10. A lot of things they loved, some things they hated. But this show is about what they think might happen moving forward with the DCEU so it's interesting

I was just saying this in another thread. They fukked up what should have been an epic moment by drastically changing his appearance but still expected people to recognize him. Alot of people were confused by that scene
