The one thing I didn't like about the film is how there's very little subtlety is in it but then I turn around and see folks don't understand Luthor's motivation. I'm sitting here like " Buddy start up said why he hated Superman on the roof, how did everyone miss that!"

Nikkas went in the theaters expecting to see a live action version of World's Finest is what I'm guessing

What happened to those rumours of a casting call for a black actress to play jezebel jet?

I wonder if that was just made up or, the script was different at the time because I can't imagine Bruce having a girlfriend in the BvS we got.

I think the DCU could really benefit with a black love interest. Most movie love interests are cut from the same cloth.

A lot of shyt was literally SPELLED OUT throughout the course of the movie...

But these nikkas need someone to literally tell them what's going on to understand why these scenes are happening

The cats at Collider said the same thing. "If someone had just said why they were doing something it would be better"...

I was like ... If you just watch the movie you could see the reason why they showed Bruce trying to save people in the beginning, the significance of the Lois/terrorist scene, the "kids in the water", the "Lois in the bathtub", etc.

It was not a hard movie to follow. Even my neice who is 6 years old paid attention the entire movie, knew the characters, understood the story, and ultimately loved the movie.
