I dont know.... I kinda agree it was dark.... there are levels to it.... was it Sin City, Grindhouse level Dark? No

But it wasnt exactly popcorn friendly like say TMNT or Transformers.

I mean color wise it was filmed with that kinda dark tint.... no real hues of green, yellow or purples.... just blacks, grays, dark reds.... just kinda a gloomy visual look to it (but of course that Snyders style)

The content was kinda deep and dark. The violence was a bit more intense and elevated... and there were a few other things about it that could qualify it as being dark.

Again it wasnt like a Tarentino style darkness to it... but it had its level that separated it from a movie that is just strictly PG or borderline PG-13..... I can easily see and understand why there is a R rater version available

maybe it says something about me, but I just didn't see it....

Out of the curiosity I checked RT to see what percentage its currently at and saw this review:
"Let's face it Christian's Bale Batman was going to be a hard act to follow."
:what::what:
Bale's Batman was trash, what movie did these critics watch?
Afleck and Irons killed their role.

I'm starting to believe this idea of there being an agenda no really in all seriousness, this movie with the exception of Captain America winter soldier is a simply better watch then every Marvel movie to date. And I don't think this was even that good of a movie, it could have been so much, much more but what do you expect with Goyer and Snyder.

Guess the critics and movie going public prefer corny jokes sprinkled throughout their superhero movies.

Stop it.... there is no agenda..... atleast there are no Marvel "Hydra" like people impersonating critics and purposely trying to shyt on this movie to advance the Marvel agenda.

I disagree that its better than "every Marvel movie" and before it can even be debated against Marvel..... while it was a good movie.... it simply wasnt even better than some of the movies in its own family and probably gonna get shytted on by SS

Before it goes to battle against Marvel and any DC movie movie forward..... they gotta dethrone TDK

This is like niccas trynna create a compelling reason to say Delavadova being a better player than Stephen Curry right now:mjlol:

I agree with this. I just think over the last 6-8 years Marvel's films are what people expect these movies to be like. So when BvS is completely different it gets punished imo

as someone that has only enjoyed CA:WS and antman, i agree. even though i was disappointed with BvS, its still better than 90% of marvel movies.

I just got done seeing it. Although I was pretty entertained by it, the pace was definitely off. Like one of the ScreenJunkies reviewers said, it's like there are 3 different movies inside this one. The final battle was hype tho. I still shocked that
Superman died in the end. Really? You're gonna kick off your superhero universe, by killing off its top star?

Affleck killed the Batman role.

There is some agenda, why is the media trying their hardest to make sure that everyone knows they think the movie is bad , and making all these articles about how it's such a failure and seemingly trying to make the movie fail financially . Even prior to the movies launch they were saying the same things . How come they don't treat say the ninja turtle or transformer movies the same ?

What felt rushed to you? I thought it was a slow burn for the most part.
First 2 thirds was slow while the last part felt rushed: Batman and Superman go at it and then fight Doomsday immediately after.

I was expecting Batman and Superman to have two fights in the movie. One brief introductory fight sooner in the movie and then the one they gave us.

Ok that make sense.... so basically the last Superman that a lot of peeps grew up to movie was still 3 years before you was even born. You were around to really remember the wave and love it those films in they moments.

And I can feel where you stand with that.... thats like alot of us 80's babies when our parents was on some dikk Tracy or some shyt..... it felt corny and outdated but we couldnt comprehend how great it was at its times and couldnt appreciate it

Its kinda on the lines of Lex quotable "That is a three syllable word for any thought too big for little minds." in this case 2 syllable:lolbron:

Saw it a second time today, refreshed and not coming off a night of exhaustion.....

If you didn't like MOS, then this movie wouldn't be for you as the tone and structure are very much the same as Snyder's previous interpretation. The Warehouse rescue of Martha is one of the top Batman scenes ever in live-action, the brutality, rage, fear, anger, desperation, chaos, deception, Nolan wishes he could have came up with something that clever for his trilogy.

I think there was an art imitates life moment in the film which went over people's heads, "We as people project onto Superman on what we think he should be" and this is the case with the tremendous amount of backlash of the film. Fans seem to want this to be DC's answer to the MCU (which is a lame thing to attempt anyway) and not let the franchise just be its own thing. I went in there again without trying to mold it into a pre-formed opinion and it was great, it makes my list in top 10 comic films.
