The Official Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Movie Thread

back from seeing Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice..my thoughts.the acting was good from all the major characters..especially Ben Affleck as Batman..he gets props for being a really dark, brutal Batman..but the main thing I had an issue about this movie that brought it down some..the story..there were multiple storylines that didn't really tie into each very well and at times all over the place..but I can't tell if it was lazy writing or really bad editing...I guess i will have to wait until the director's cut thats Rated R comes out to answer that question

I totally disagree about stories not really tied together... Unlike with Daredevil season 2 that has 13 episodes with storylines that were completely alien from one another... this movie, even how dense it is ALL is connected courtesy of Luthor. In fact the reason why a need for a Justice League is due to seeded planted by Luthor from the absolute very beginning.

These nikkas saying the movie is worse than some of the critics said lol and we know damn well both of 'em been hating on this movie and on Man of Steel for three years straight.

Their reviews were prewritten obviously

i can't see it, there's really not much to debate. if you liked this movie then i'm completely uninterested in what you have to say.

he wasn't working for darkseid and the movie didnt imply that...he said he fukked up and sent a signal to darkseid by accident when he was creating doomsday...which is gonna cause him to come to earth looking for the ones that sent the signal...as he said 'the bell had been rung'

But the overall play of it was stupid..... I mean ok you not only kill Supes but kill Clark too? And all them folks at his funeral? So whats gonna happen when he return, no one gonna say shyt? and Perry White just gonna let him have his job back on some "Welcome back Clark" no questions asked? shyt. What about all of Lex men that know his identity? There was just too many bad decisions with this

I think both... like there's going to be a backstory and then most of the being after BvS especially in the 1st ComicCon trailer talking about how all the Metahumans started to appear out of nowhere after Superman appeared.

Ok..... I aint trynna be a contrarian or a hater... but really.... what did WW really do that was so "great"

She really only had like 15 mins of screen time (hell Lex had more screen time than her and seems like LLane had more lines)

Only really one scene with extensive dialogue.... they mostly showed her looking at someone or something.

And in her fight, yea she did her 4 movies of Doom but nothing about her part of the fight really stood out at "OMG this is epic"

I'm not by any means saying she was bad..... but I really dont think cats is over rating her a bit.

Okay came back from seeing the movie and there some things I like and some things I hate

I Liked
Ben as Batman, he was the best thing about the movie
Alfred and all Batman related scenes
The fights and actions were good
WW entrance battle, every cheered in the theater.

I Hated
Cavell as Superman was very boring and emotionless
Who the fukk thought is was a good idea for Jesse Eisenberg to cast as Lex Luthor, he was awful as Lex
The pacing of the movie was all over the place, it fukked up the movie flow
To much screen time on boring side/minor characters
To much rushed plots in the movie like showing Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg in the film just so they can hurry up with the Justice League movie

It wasn't a great movie or a horrible movie

I give it a 6/10

then you better check out of this thread because so far most cats giving a fair and balanced review. Nobody going overboard with it either. Everyone pretty much saying it's a decent movie but has some issues. You and the other fakkit the only two who are saying it's "worst movie ever" and all this other hyperbolic nonsense
