I liked this version better than Chris reeves, but my favorite Supes is JL-JLU Supes where he was still a boyscoout but there were flashes of darkness and a level of pessismism bc he had been through so much for example if you remember the episode with Captain Marvel where the 2 fought and Captain Marvel represented the idealism that Superman had lost throughout his years.

Man that Show was so damn Good.:banderas:

So if you asked me I would have wished they started it with a more slightly idealistic superman than ended up the superman we got in M.O.S. and BVS through years of battles and weariness. That Christopher Reeves Supes aint my shyt, loved the movie as a kid but you could not pay me to watch it now.

You only saying that because the Christopher Reeves version ain't have the benefit of a 300 million dollar production budget. That being said, cool I can dig that. And you are right the JLU JL version IS Superman ideally. So why is that version so hard to reproduce in cinema?

S.M.B 4 EVER
Just got back a bit ago, and it was a solid movie similar in that Man of Steel vibe. Action is one of ZS's strengths so he handled it pretty well..The last battle seemed very video game ish and a lot of the script at seemed more like Goyer with them corny one liners Was there a end credit scene? The shorty wop I was with had to use the bathroom so I didn't stay to watch the credits.

Movie was dope. I just think Zack shot too much footage for the movie. Terrio said the OG film is 6 hours and they had to cut it to 2:30. A lot of information was taken out. WW was flames af, Supes was OK, I wish they already get on with him being Superman instead of doubting himself all the time. Bats was dope even tho he lost who Batman was until the end which is why he smashed the brand against the wall and felt like he owed Clark

I liked that one scene too with
the flash in Bruce's vision

Yeah Wonder Woman had a no b/s attitude which explains her dialogue.

I think them dudes at collider failed to realize that.

I kind of would like to see Diana and Bruce get together.
Hell yeah, they failed to realize a lot of shyt...

Like they were complaining about why this and this happening and everything being random when

you can tell throughout the movie that Lex was setting Superman, Batman, etc., up throughout the beginning. He knew who Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc., were from the very beginning. He's been secretly studying Metahumans since after MOS and once he got access to Zods ship he learned about Darkseid/Doom. So he was using Superman to kill batman (since he stole the Kryptonite) and was gonna use Doom to kill Superman. I don't know what his endgame was I guess we'll have to wait for the JL movie... But shyt was common sense why things happened

But yeah, Wonder Woman had that militarian/warrior presence. She was there for one purpose until Bruce. She wasn't there to talk

I think that's what I love the most. I don't really want him to be like Captain America...just automatically boy scout without no character development as to how it got there. This is a Superman that is STILL in development and it's only two years later from MoS. The entire WORLD is doubting the purpose of Superman to include Batman... so why shouldn't Superman himself have those same questions if the WORLD is conflicted?

And another thing about the dream sequence

and Flash who I really believed traveled in time or something to warn Bruce. I think Darkseid is going to have control or working with Superman. Something happens to Lois and Superman turns his back on earth like I think he's done in a couple other iterations. Flash was trying to warn him and maybe that's what the future JL movies will be about... Or maybe it was Darseid in Bruce's head, idk., but Flash definitely traveled in time. You could see the papers flying everywhere when Bruce wakes up again
