Hahaha I'm the opposite. I hate the boyscouts. I hate Scott, captain America etc. But you can't be a Boy Scout and OP. That's the issue with superman. He's too strong for live action. You got people who can't suspend belief when it comes to him

If that's the case so are Wonder Woman and The Flash and Aquaman. But this also goes back to the fact that most DC characters are OP

I liked this version better than Chris reeves, but my favorite Supes is JL-JLU Supes where he was still a boyscoout but there were flashes of darkness and a level of pessismism bc he had been through so much for example if you remember the episode with Captain Marvel where the 2 fought and Captain Marvel represented the idealism that Superman had lost throughout his years.

Man that Show was so damn Good.

So if you asked me I would have wished they started it with a more slightly idealistic superman than ended up the superman we got in M.O.S. and BVS through years of battles and weariness. That Christopher Reeves Supes aint my shyt, loved the movie as a kid but you could not pay me to watch it now.

Also I understand why The Supes in M.O.S was the way he was.
