The Truth
And another thing I like about Batman in this movie is that he's older... He's like a seasoned vet.

He's already been dealing with psychotic clowns, clay faces, other meta humans, secret ninja societies, to where he's like seeing someone like Superman and it scares the shyt out of him. To where he's going to go above and beyond to figure him out or put him down in necessity.

He feels as if he can't do it then no one can... And guaranteed he's considering the future as well if there are superhuman being coming to earth wrecking shyt. Even if it means siding with Aliens, Demi-goddesses, folklore kings, etc.

I like that he is older too but wonder how that will effect his solo movies

I'm about as unbiased as it gets to quality comic book movies, but DC has something very special on their hands. The cinematic movie universe is the only real thing that Marvel had over DC for a long time, but now, the playing field is about to get even and it scares the biased fan boys of Marvel. And I love the Captain America series and the first Avengers and the first Iron Man.

DC got the live action TV on lock.

DC got their re-runs of their old animated shows out shining the new Marvel animated shows.

DC ran Marvel out of the PG13 DVD animated game, which Marvel started back in 2005. :dead:

DC comic books are about even with Marvel now.

And now this. Guess quality wins the game and hiding from shyt like sales and box office draws ain't gonna cut it anymore.

And I will be seeing Captain America Civil War and Black Panther the first day it drops.

But Batman vs Superman will be :banderas:

nikkas really going overboard with this MOS damage shyt.

Like wtf was he supposed to do when these nikkas was trying to destroy the planet... Save every single man, woman, child, kitten, etc., on the planet??

And isn't that the main focus of this movie? That he couldn't save every fukking one???

You can tell when nikkas don't know what the fukk they talking bout. a Group of nikkas vs random alien goon number 7 with everyone there trained and season compared to a rookie supeman never so much bust a grape in a food fight fighting for his life vs a anarmy of superman. Yeah he should have stopped and save the cat on the tree :mjlol:

Shut up fakkit M.O.S greater than anything not named Winter Soldier and Avengers :umad:

I'm truly baffled that after all this time people still don't understand the difference between "trying" and "succeeding". Every time I say Supes doesn't even try to direct the fight elsewhere or save people, I'm not arguing that he should fukking save everyone, the problem is he never seems to fukking care what the fukk goes down. Even the excuse of him just being a rookie is crap, dude is never shown to have any kind of revelation about all the people dying around him.

And I know people love to pretend that his opinion suddenly doesn't matter, but Kingdom Come and Superman: Birthright writer Mark Waid strongly agreed.

See, everyone else in Zod’s army has been beaten and banished, but General Zod lives and so, of course, he and Superman duke it out in what, to everyone’s credit, is the very best super-hero fight I’ve ever seen, just a marvel of spectacle. But once more–and this is where I knew we were headed someplace really awful–once more, Superman showed not the slightest split-second of concern for the people around them. Particularly in this last sequence, his utter disregard for the collateral damage was just jaw-dropping as they just kept crashing through buildings full of survivors. I’m not suggesting he stop in the middle of a super-powered brawl to save a kitten from a tree, but even Brandon Routh thought to use his heat vision on the fly to disintegrate deadly falling debris after a sonic boom. From everything shown to us from the moment he put on the suit, Superman rarely if ever bothered to give the safety and welfare of the people around him one bit of thought. Which is why the climax of that fight broke me.[...]

[...]I realized that it wasn’t so much my uncompromising vision of Superman that made this a total-fail moment for me; it was the failed lead-up TO the moment. As Superman’s having his final one-on-one battle with Zod, show me that he’s going out of his way to save people from getting caught in the middle. SHOW ME that trying to simultaneously protect humans and beat Zod is achingly, achingly costing Superman the fight. Build to that moment of the hard choice…show me, without doubt, that Superman has no other out and do a better job of convincing me that it’s a hard decision to make, and maybe I’ll give it to you. But even if I do? It’s not a victory. Not this sad, soul-darkening, utterly sans-catharsis “triumph” that doesn’t even feel like a win so much as a stop-loss. Two and a half hours, and I never once got the sense that Superman really achieved or earned anything.

The essential part of Superman that got lost in MAN OF STEEL, the fundamental break in trust between the movie and the audience, is that we don’t just want Superman to save us; we want him to protectus. He was okay at the former, but really, really lousy at the latter. Once he puts on that suit, everyone he bothers to help along the way is pretty much an afterthought, a fly ball he might as well shag since he’s flying past anyway, so what the hell. Where Christopher Reeve won me over with his portrayal was that his Superman clearly cared about everyone. Yes, this Superman cares in the abstract–he is willing to surrender to Zod to spare us–but the vibe I kept getting was that old Charles Schulz line: “I love mankind…it’s people I can’t stand.”

Since day one I've always maintained context is key and in MoS there is just no context to imply Supes could give a fukk about the people around him. That's a big deal for a character famous for doing the exact opposite.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Gtfoh... He wasn't just looking for the codex. He was looking for Kal El as well. Dude was trying to get the codex and get revenge.. He hated Krypton leaders and was trying to be the ruler of a new Krypton.

Earth was the perfect place to terraform when he arrived.

And Krypton sent people to explore and possibly build but none of them did that shyt or else there would've been other Krypton like planets around where they could escape to. Zod got sent to the phantom zone after killing Supermans dad and was pissed after only to find Krypton imploded. They wanted a new home.. Which was mentioned in the movie and they chose earth after discovering Superman was already there and the Codex in his blood.

Zod tried to finesse the codex out of the pod and then realized that it was in supermans blood so he began terraforming earth and trying to kill Superman at the same time.

Earth was fukked regardless... Which is what brought out Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, GL, and etc that will all make appearances in this movie. Batman was the only one to step up to the plate first because dude is crazy and had a personal connection to the destruction

Get revenge for what. Zod only wanted the codex. Superman could've easily negotiated but was too awkward/dumb to do it. Russell Crowe and Zod wanted the same damn thing only Crowe was pro natural birth and Zod was pro tradition. Crowe was more of an outlaw than Zod :mjpls: he was reckless as fukk. He put the codex inside of superman as a baby and said fukk it if he somehow didn't even make the trip. And how come Crowe new about earth but not Zod :mjpls:

That movie had so many plot holes I can make a do documentary about it. And the main REASON why we have all of these characters on BvS is because superman or this version of superman can't carry a movie by himself.
