Zod was created for the sole purpose of preserving krypton. Hell, his own people didn't listen to him which is why the planet died in the first place.

Superman didn't even try to reason with him. When Zod first met him he was on some :melo:

If Russell Crowe wasn't shoehorned back into the plot Zod wouldve gotten a sequel and I could still at Faora. They took that from me

Superman is worse because he killed off ALL of his people trying to simp over a bytch and protect humans that who constantly bullied him and a military that was trying to kill him even as he was fighting Zod's goons.

All I'm saying is they could've gone a different route. They clearly didn't plan on making a DC cinematic universe when they made this movie and as a result we miss out on what could've been a dope sequel.

It's almost as bad as Heath Ledger dying and DC not able to use his version of the Joker in future sequels.

Zod was military... That's it. Preservation of Krypton meant doing whatever it took... Even destroying Krypton leaders in his mind. That's not how military work....

Dude was outta control though. Not someone to follow in regards to safekeeping Krypton. Krypton was already fukked... It was a doomed planet with rules that Supermans dad didn't follow in order to save Krypton

When Kal El first encountered Zod it was because Zod threatened to destroy earth unless Kal El complied... In which he did. But it was clear that Zod was going to destroy the planet regardless. He was apathetic to the earth in general... Nothing was going to stop him terraforming earth even if Superman cooperated.

That's when superman stepped in and did what he had to do.

You're mad notbbecause people died and etc... But because Zod didn't live (still in theory) and that he didn't accomplish his goal. Like that's gonna happen in a Superman movie

She's kinda like Thor in that confident I love to fight way and will probably be busting ass like she does in JL/JLU. I know . I don't get what's the confusion about this especially since it's addressed in this movie . Superman wasn't superman the whole movie and he learned his lesson after his first real fight . People are acting like that is somthing you automatically can do your first fight when your fighting for your life

The thing is, is that Batman is right... There needs to be checks and balances when dealing with someone like superman. Someone who could destroy the planet if he feels like it... Same in the comics/cartoons. Batman was the only one to go against Superman and devise a plan or strategy. Made a plan against everyone honestly. Batman used his experience to safeguard everyone on earth against Superman, Martian Manhunter, Green lantern, etc., with Superman being the number one suspect if they ever flipped the script. It was his plans that almost destroyed the Justice League in general. And never regretted any of it.

Even if Zod travelled at the speed of light, superman would've been dead by the time he got there. 1000's of years would've passed on earth.

Gtfoh... He wasn't just looking for the codex. He was looking for Kal El as well. Dude was trying to get the codex and get revenge.. He hated Krypton leaders and was trying to be the ruler of a new Krypton.

Earth was the perfect place to terraform when he arrived.

And Krypton sent people to explore and possibly build but none of them did that shyt or else there would've been other Krypton like planets around where they could escape to. Zod got sent to the phantom zone after killing Supermans dad and was pissed after only to find Krypton imploded. They wanted a new home.. Which was mentioned in the movie and they chose earth after discovering Superman was already there and the Codex in his blood.

Zod tried to finesse the codex out of the pod and then realized that it was in supermans blood so he began terraforming earth and trying to kill Superman at the same time.

Earth was fukked regardless... Which is what brought out Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, GL, and etc that will all make appearances in this movie. Batman was the only one to step up to the plate first because dude is crazy and had a personal connection to the destruction
