Marvel built their characters up because they actually had time to do it. You seriously think DC wants to put three of their biggest characters into one movie?

They don't have much choice at this point. They ain't trying to have Justice League come out in 2025.

Funny thing is I don't even like this trailer but here I am Defending D.C. Ultron had a great Trailer where he looked all menacing but we know that Ultron and that movie was a joke so hopefully the opposite happens for BVS where the trailer sucks and the movie is actually good

To play devil's advocate breh, they can afford to do it with two of those characters. The pubic knows superman at this point and batman just had three movies that together grossed more than a billion worldwide so for them, they can afford to take some of those shortcuts that marvel couldn't when they were building things.

DC can afford to fast forward for time purposes, it doesn't mean it's ideal. And hell, Marty just gave a good reason why it's not.

Either of these characters could realistically gross close to what this movie is going to, alone. The problem is their end game is Justice League and realistically there's no way to get there taking their time.

I understand what you're saying @Ain't That Something but Marvel didn't "fast forward" and now z-tier groups like Guardians Of The Galaxy are doing more than Superman. You build up your universe so you can do that. If you're telling me they'd rather have 4-5 characters in one movie vs each having it's own movie and making more money....it makes zero sense business-wise.

I think it makes sense business wise because batman and superman are already batman and superman and wonder woman is getting her own flick thats in production right now

If this movie is anything less than a grand slam, no one is going to say "eh, that shyt was aight....but we still got 'Aquaman' and 'Shazam'."

You get what I'm saying? That's why I said this isn't an ideal situation for DC.

There's a lot riding on this flick..u r absolutely right. It may have some flaws, well it will have its flaws but if its a smash and an all around entertaining ride, all the other shyt may fall into place.

until it's confirmed, yall really need to chill on the doomsday talk...i really dont think that's doomsday....as much as people in this thread think it would be good to not make him the main villain in a jl movie(i disagree with that, but whatever), he still is a big enough name that if that was him, they'd say so...

Ofcourse it's doomsday.. Who else will it be

And there are rumors that bones develop the more he's hit/hurt so I don't think that's the finished product...

I also don't think he's the final villain imo. I think there's going to be a bigger reason to draw out Aquaman, Flash, GL, Cyborg, and etc than just fighting Doomsday.

I'm hoping there's a Braniac introduction but I think it's Darkseid since they showed the flying droids or whatever
