I'm pretty sure there are two Robins in this Universe. dikk, who should be Nightwing by now and Jason, who got killed which probably forced Bruce into retirement so there's probably no Tim.

It works in Zach Snyder's visual style, it would probably be like the opening to watchmen. Tell me are you seriously gonna complain if they show joker bashing Robins skull in with a crowbar in Sarajevo?
