Avatar was only ten minutes longer than Batman vs Superman and still under 3 hours

Titanic is from a different era. ADHD culture was still in it's infancy.

I guess I'm adding in the preview trailers into Avatar that made it feel like you were sitting there for 3 hours. Personally I woulda sat through the 3 hour cut if they put it out originally and I think a lot of others would have too, the hype for this movie was too big when it came out a few weeks ago.

Probably so. I avoided all trailers and articles/discussions so I didnt get a sense of the hype the film had.

If the new cut comes to my theater I'll be there opening day

One thing about critics/RT. People who've studied it/are respected scholars/writers etc does mean something.

That said, most of the reviewers who "count" on RT are just journalists who like movies, they don't have any serious credentials beyond "person who can write well and has seen a lot of movies".

Armond White, arguable GOAT critic, liked this.

He normally hates everything :russ:

But his review of this movie was :whew:

I feel like the ONLY 3D effect in the film were those leaves during the WB logo.

I didn't really notice anything else :yeshrug:

I think it's about time to bury 3d, only Avatar and Hugo had me :ohhh: and it's been mainstream like a decade now?

Gravity and Life of Pi were also epic in 3D.

And supposedly The Jungle Book's use of it is spectacular as well.

Quick question and this may have already been answered....but who was the "time traveler" that came to Batman in his dream telling him Lois Lane was important?

nikka I been talking about the movie.

It's you same 3-4 nikkas circle jerking in the thread about restaurants and shyt trying to be cute

You didn't like the movie, we addressed your reasons, you still didn't understand... Cool. Why you still in here complaining like a old white bytch?
You people don't seem to grasp the fact that not agreeing isn't the same as not understanding. We understand completely what the movie was we just don't agree that it was good.:umad:
