They did fukk up by blowing their load on the Superman / Doomsday thing this early. Would have been great to see Doomsday run amok in a fully fleshed out DC universe, finally ending with the Death (and return) of Superman. They could have stretched that out to two movies and a couple billion dollars, but :manny:.

Was WAY better than The Dark Knight Rises (which I hated) and MoS (which I thought was decent).

Just saw it. Movie was fire. Had more heart and soul than most superhero movies, definitely more than the Reptilian Avengers movies.

Lex was good for the first half, then when he got "really evil" he became a bad Ledger impersonation.

I was cool with almost all the action coming in the last 45 min, because it was good action and the story was interesting and took itself seriously enough for the first hour and a half to maintain my interest.

One thing about critics/RT. People who've studied it/are respected scholars/writers etc does mean something.

That said, most of the reviewers who "count" on RT are just journalists who like movies, they don't have any serious credentials beyond "person who can write well and has seen a lot of movies".

Armond White, arguable GOAT critic, liked this.

I liked it. The worse thing were the dream sequences that left me like "WTF" each time they cut to them with no explanation. Mixing the storylines from maybe 3 to 4 different Elseworld storylines and not properly introducing WW (for people who didn't know who she was) were other major flaws that I know helped lower the score.

I give it a 7/10

Lex Luthor was weird but I respect the fact they tried something different. I still think Cranston playing Luthor like Hisenberg would of been a lot more imposing version of Lex.

The XMen Apocalypse Trailer I saw before this looked a lot better in 3D than on youtube. Not saying it will be like Hugo or anything, just the improvement was very noticeable.
