Except for the part that in week 2 the audience cratered. There are a few bright spots in this movie but it's a crap movie overall. I'm sorry buy DC needed to lay the groundwork over the course of several movie for a Justice League not try to strap it to Man of Steel and add in one more movie before a Justice League film.
Warner Bros is trying not to panic as they actually panic because of this movie's failure. it's interesting to watch in the same way a building being demolished is. I bet a Justice League movie that will likely do worse than this one did kills the DC extended universe before it ever really properly could begin.
The movie cratered because the critics killed it and a lot of people's opinion got swayed because of said critics (people can't think for themselves). But honestly, watching it open minded, i thought it was pretty good - except for Lex which ruined it for me. The main argument by the critics was that it was bloated but I didn't have a hard time following it. I get that a lot of people's attention span is like a 6 year old ADD kid, but it wasn't complicated to follow at all.
And as far as what they wanted to do with the movie - lay groundwork for other DC movies to follow - it was mission accomplished.
But people have they're own opinion and I get that.
As a comic book fan and seeing Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman live action plus previews of Arthur, Flash, and Cyborg, it was
That Lex Luthor though
. Snyder should be removed just based on the fact that he didn't see how awful that was. I can't trust him going forward
